Hoover 2305L washing machine. Won't spin dry clothes.

You have faulty transmission or/and clutch.
Clutch is on the bottom of the transmission , next to the pully.

Doesn't dry clothes in spin cycle- spins but not enough

so it is the spin cycle that does not work that is the drum does not turn. Have you tried other levels such as delicate wash and see if spin works. LASTLY, disconnect power and reconnect.

Broken washer/dryer

This sounds like a motor control board is faulty. Please load a couple of towels in the machine run it. Watch the machine as it goes through its' cycles.

1. Do the towels tumble when the machine is washing ?
2. When it begins to spin, does it spin one way at a fast pace or does it spin one way and then the other ?

Answering these two questions will help in troubleshooting your problem.

Not draining

it will be the pump they have a small fan inside them they get weak and with the pressure of the water they stop spinning which doesnt push your the water through the motor fast enough to drain properly replace and you will see the difference

Whirlpool lhw0050pq washer will not spin

Possible your belt is loose; you have to unscrew the back after disconnecting electrical connection from wall socket. If the belt "gives" more than half an inch, you have to loosen the motor bolts and push motor upwards, then tighten the bolts very well. Try spin only to check, before closing the behind. It shd spin very fast.
