If you want to play it on your tablet and view on your tv. If you do not have a smart tv you can do it but you need a chromecast . About 30 bucks at best buy . Plugs into your hdmi in back of your tv. I highly recommend it because you can do so much with it. You havr to download an app on your tablet or even your phone! Way cool. Once you set it up you can view anything on your tv that your seeing on your phone. Pictures movies even play music! Its called casting and that little chromecast thing makes any tv a smart tv. Obviously you need Internet as well. But you can open netflix youtube even your personal pictures or Facebook right on your tv. And if you have a nice sound system on your tv you can jam out by casting music. Takes a little info but set it up once and your good to go!

You need to check your tablet to see if it has those capabilities. Most tablets usb connectors provide power (Pos and Neg) and Data (+ and -). No video is available that I know of.

You can use a device or application with your tablet to send video and audio to the TV if it has the capabilities to receive the transmission.

you need a mini HDMI to full size HDMI adapter.

Depends on the tablet. Many have a micro hdmi connector so a micro hdmi to standard hdmi cable will do the trick. Some have a mini hdmi so mini to standard. There are some that only have a 1/8th inch jack so you would need a 1/8 inch video adapter that splits off a right and left audio and a video RCA cable.

If it doesnt have hdmi out then not likely.
