check for bulging capacitors on the power supply board. you will have to remove the back cover from the television set to get a good look at the power board. If you do notice swollen capacitors, desolder the bad ones out and solder new ones in.

Power supply is in need of repair. Pull out the power supply. You will find transformer (has blue tape). The location of this transformer is T701. Underside of this transformer, pin # EL41 is in need of a resolder.With a small screwdriver, scratch an area next and around this pin. With a hot soldering iron and solder...resolder this pin. you are not out of luck..all need is a tech to look at your tv...maybe you have partially damage the output chip that is inside the tv...but if you think that doing a repair is too expensive then you must invest in a new set.good luck.
when you unzip the file you may need to put it into a file called "upgrades". Try an empty USB stick (size should not matter) and put the autorun file into the upgrades file.
