Normally, when a washer will spin without cloths, the washer is doing all the basics correctly. But when you add cloths, which means adding weight, the washer will not, then its a suspension rods issue. The suspension rods absorb the weight and allow the washer to spin.

Spin. Working short time do not put cloth water out

Sounds like the belt that spins the washing drum is slipping. It my need to be adjusted or replaced, or try washing a smaller load of laundry.

Washer Control Locked blinking and won't washer won't work

Water still in the bottom of the drum. Empty, clean filter and check pump is turning. Once pressure switch is satisfied no water is left it'll allow the door to open, assuming the door interlock is still ok.

I have a GE Adoration WHDRE526E1WW top load washer. It drains and hits spin but will not spin. Lid switch seems to work. When tested the motor kicks on but will not turn the tub. Few times I manually spun...

It really sounds like the belt. You say it's in good shape but if it's loose or shiny from not having proper tension it wont have enough friction between the belt and pulley to actually work. If you've ever tried to move the drum when its full of clothes and water you know how much force id needed to function. Double check that belt tension and working surface.

Washer wont spin

You may have some small piece of clothing stuck in the water pump. Pull clothes out, empty water out, turn over and remove pump and check for obstructions. If nothing in there see if it is frozen from moving, if not belt may be loose by being streched. Replace belt if needed.

GE washer will NOT spin, but does all other functions.

You need to have the fan belt checked. It must have been loose or broken.

Clothes are still soaking wet after spin cycle

But is the washer empty, if there is still some water in it, there could be something in the drain line,
if all the water is gone, then it sounds like the washer is not reaching the full speed of the spin cycle.

Unless someone can remove the drain line and check the pump, and check the clutch of the machine,
I am sorry to say you should call an appliance person and have them make a service call.

If you where to post the model # of the washer, someone could look at the manual of it and see
how the washer works and what the pump is. I hope it is a simple fix for you.

Washer won't spin

You may not have received any response because you have used Kenmore 22622 category instead of posting with GE and the GE model #.
Regardless - you might remove the back panel of the machine and with adequate light peer inside and look for a belt. If your machine is belt driven, it may need a replacement if it has stretched beyond the limits imposed by any tensioner.

Washing machine not spinning

HI! base in your complaint and explanations! i find the problem is the motor belt... maybe this is too loose belt... you can replaced a new one replacement belt... and make sure when you replace the belt is the same size in the original!
