If your Dalton Primechair is not receiving power from the control arm, there could be several reasons for this issue. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can take:
Check Power Source:
Make sure the chair is plugged into a working power outlet.
Check the power cord and ensure it is securely connected to both the chair and the electrical outlet.
Power Switch:
Verify that the power switch on the control arm is in the "ON" position.
If there is a separate power switch on the chair's body, ensure it is also turned on.
Batteries (If Applicable):
If the chair uses batteries, check if they are properly installed and functional. Replace the batteries if necessary.
Remote Control (If Applicable):
If the chair comes with a remote control, ensure that the batteries are installed correctly and that the remote is functioning.
Fuse:
Check if there is a fuse in the power supply line or within the control arm. If the fuse is blown, replace it with a new one of the same type and rating.
Wiring Connections:
Inspect the wiring connections from the control arm to the chair. Look for any loose or disconnected wires. Reconnect any loose wires securely.
Faulty Control Arm or Power Supply:
If none of the above steps resolve the issue, there may be a fault in the control arm or the power supply system. Contact the manufacturer's customer support for further assistance. They may provide guidance on troubleshooting or recommend professional service.
User Manual:
Refer to the user manual for troubleshooting tips and specific instructions related to the Dalton Primechair.
If you are unable to resolve the issue with these steps, it's advisable to seek assistance from the manufacturer's customer support or contact a professional technician who is familiar with the specific model of your chair.
Error code 04,14 on an Ogawa 5020 massage chair typically indicates a problem with the chair's main control board. Some possible causes of this error code include a malfunctioning sensor, a software issue, or a problem with the power supply.
To fix this error, you should first try resetting the chair by unplugging it from the power outlet and then plugging it back in. If the error persists, you may want to contact Ogawa customer support for further assistance. They may ask you to provide your chair's serial number and other information to help troubleshoot the problem.
It's also possible that the error is caused by a hardware malfunction and may require a technician to repair or replace a component. In this case, Ogawa customer service may be able to connect you with a technician in your area or advise you on next steps.
It sounds like the joystick has defaulted back to some other programming. A Reset Switch is a switch that plugs into one of the Mono ports on the joystick. You will need to either have the chair reprogrammed by a service/dealer of power chairs or purchase a reset switch (sometimes called a momentary switch) to plug in to the joystick. The Reset switch has a long wire with the proper plug on it. There are many different types and prices for one of those so getting the chair reprogrammed may be easier.
Trace the problem to the power supply connection devices. For example, the power current be enough to inflat the chair. Consider the extension chords capacities. Second, trace the pin outlets at which the air is placed into the chair. A closed circuit usually power supply safety mechnicasm may be locked. For example, once the chair is ready to be inflated, open the pin connection hose outlet. Third, inspect the chair for damages either perforations that is causing air leakage. Also, the chair is incapable of inflation when pressure is applied on it. Either due to insufficient power from an outlet source given the extension cuicuits provided with package at purchase. Consult power citucuit professionals as alternate resolution. Good luck
If you have an on-board charger for your power chair this outlet is for your charger cord. One end of the AC cord plugs into the wall outlet and the other end plugs into the trapezoid shape outlet on the side of the chair. This is the same shaped AC cord used to power computers and other devices. You can buy one a most hardware stores and places like Radio Shack. If you are using an off board charger which plugs into the front of the joystick (round plug)to charge the chair, then you don't need to use the on-board one and you don't need another AC cord. Hope this helps.
Search ebay, you'll find them new and used, and make sure that the connection into the chair matches up with your chair...most will send you a picture of it, and also make sure that the controller is programmed for RWD (Rear Wheel Drive), or you will also need to get a PP1 programmer to reset it for your chair. If it came off of any RWD chair and the connections are the same, it will work on your GO-GO.
Make sure there is power at the outlet. Check the fuse panel. If there is still no power then check to make sure there is no GFI (ground fault interupt) switch on the chair itself. The GFI is a 2 button switch that will say "Reset" and "Test"
