That means internal battery is shot, not taking a charge. Internal battery needs to be replaced.

SOURCE: Plantronics Bluetooth Headset P590

This is a "known issue" that I have raised to Plantronics. Whether they do anything about it, remains to be seen. The workaround I have discovered seems to work with both of my P590 headphones that stopped charging:

1. Plug in the USB charging cable to a laptop or computer that is powered on.
2. Connect the USB charging cable to the headphones
3. Connect the 3.5mm headphone cord cable to the headphone output on the laptop of computer (this is the long cable with the normal 3.5mm stereo plug at each end)
4. Plug the other end of the 3.5mm cable into the P590 input.

The headphones should start charging.

SOURCE: I have a H270 Bluetooth headset. I charged it

I had the same problem. I plugged a USB charger into the headset and turned the power switch off. It worked as normal after that. I think it does not like to be "on" when the USB is disconnected. Anyway it seems the plugging/unplugging kick-started it.

Flashing red

Try uninstalling the unit, and then install it again. After you have reinstalled the software, try to reset the headset:

Press and hold the Power/Send/End button and connect the charger at the same time. The headset is turned off and reset. Afterwards, try re-charging the unit (if necessary) to see if that resolves the issue.

If this doesn't fix it, I would recommend pursuing replacement options. Bear in mind, if warranty coverage has expired, you would be responsible for the cost of another item.

The link below on page 7 has the sequence for turning on your headset (Explorer 230 and 220 work the same). If you're still having problems, then it needs to replaced.

My plantronics voyager pro will not charge turn on or anything. do you know the peoblem?

I have seen on some Plantronics Bluetooth headsets that you can perform a system reset by doing the following, It might help but not sure.

Instructions:
While plugging in the AC charger, hold the power/pair button. The headphones will show a solid red or blue light when they have been successfully reset.

Having issues syncing my Uniden BT112 Bluetooth to my BlackBerry Bold. I used this Bluetooth with another telephone and don't have any of the old packaging. I don't have a pin number. Help!

Please follow the correct instructions below to successfully pair your headset with the phone.Make sure that the headset is sufficiently charged before pairing.

Charge the battery
Before using your headset, charge the battery for at least 8 hours. Charging the battery completely (and keeping it charged) will help you get the longest possible talk and standby time out of the battery.

Pair the headset to your Bluetooth phone
Pairing is like "introducing" two Bluetooth devices and giving them permission to connect to each other. If you want to use the headset with more than one phone, you need to pair it with each phone separately. Once a phone and the headset are paired, they can connect automatically whenever they detect each other.
1. Make sure the headset is powered off and the power adapter is not connected (you can't use the headset while it's charging).
2. Press and hold Power until the LED flashes alternating red and blue. The headset is in pairing mode and should be visible to other Bluetooth devices.
3. On your phone, start a search for Bluetooth headsets or handsfree devices. (This process may take several seconds, and it will be different for each phone; see your phone's manual for detailed instructions.)
4. Your phone should discover a device called a BT108, BT108 headset, BT109, or BT109 headset, When your phone asks if you want to pair with this device, answer yes.
5. When your phone prompts you for a PIN code or password to pair with the BT108 or BT109 enter 0000.
6. When the headset is paired, the LED turns blue and flashes every 3 seconds. Your phone might display a confirmation message, also.
7. Your phone might ask if you want to change the headset's name; generally, you should only change the name if you have more than one BT108 or BT109 headset that you use with this phone.
Connecting to your phone
Most phones connect to the headset as soon as you pair it; if yours won't, turn the headset off and back on. If headset still won't connect, check your phone's owner's manual for additional Bluetooth information.
Once the headset is paired:
Whenever you turn the headset on, it will automatically try to connect to whatever device it was connected to last.
If the headset loses the connection (e.g., if your phone is out of range), it reconnects automatically. To manually reconnect, press Power.
If the headset goes more than 1 hour with no connection, it automatically turns off.

If you need further assistance please leave me a reply.Hope you are satisfied with my solution.Your valuable feedback would be appreciated. Thanks for choosing Fixya.

I have a problem with my S-69 bluetooth headset. It is not working. My cell phone can't find it and conect. Is possible that the problem is because the charge of battery is low?

it could be, try to re-pair it with your cell phone(turn both the phone and the headset off and then turn them back on then go thru the repairing process) . If it dosen't see it then try to charge it fully and repair it with your phone (same way again) . If that dosent work see if the phone can pair with anything else bluetooth. If it can then you might have just found the end of life of the headset (unfortunateley they don't last forever)

Motorola h500 bluetooth headset

Make sure the wall socket it's plugged into is on. Some have wall switches that must be turned on to activate the socket. Leave it plugged in over night if you are using it the first time. Plug something else into the socket (like a desk lamp) to make sure it is delivering electricity.
If it still doesn't turn on after attempting to charge with an electrical socket you know works, the product may be defective.
