try the google play store if it's an android tablet or itunes if it's ios. Google Play

Go online to your account. Log into amazon.com hover mouse over lists and account. click manage account and devices(about halfway down list. This brings up list of all you books. Place check mark in first box to delete. Check off all the books you no longer want and click delete to remove all of them at one time.
While there you might want to look down list and see if any have a note on for right about update being available. Click that and it will update that book on you kindle.

Re resisting is a possibility. Or you can try changing your password.

There are two ways to upgrade the iOS version of your iPad

Reset will help you to fix the problem on the temporary basis. You need to restart the kindle in order to download the book.

Permanent fix is to update the firmware. You need to update to the latest firmware 3.0.3.
