There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Service mode entry, adjust and exit procedure to many popular brand TVs are given. Never forget to exit the service mode, after all adjustments have been done.

Cannott get a picture on my tv from my DVD/VHS COMBO

Your DVD player should be connected to either the Yellow White Red connections on your TV set (same color to same color -- dvd OUT to tv IN )

OR it should be connected using the RF cables and connected inline AFTER the Direct TV Box....the box would block the DVD; and possibly the Direct TV Master box would apply 19 Volts to the DVD modulator....destroying the modulator.

Always OUTput to INput on the connections...

Also try with a new set of connections. make sure all the ports are ok.

Our Daewoo LCD DLV-42C7LMB has sound but no picture? We can hear the TV perfectly but the picture is blank completely. We have no Austar and no normal TV stations. We have checked all of the connections...

Chances are you have LED lamps in the panel that are bad and need replacing..look at spending at least $150 to get it repaired, for this TV 3 yrs is longer then they typically last, they aren't exactly high quality sets

you need rca connectors or hdmi connectors. if you only have the round cable tv style connector, you will need a modulator to connect to first

Looking for an operating manual for DWX 2880gb Daewoo TV. My mum played with the remote and scrunched the picture down to a band across the middle of the TV and we can't get it reset to a normal picture.

By video set, I'm assuming you mean a CD/DVD player or a VCR. Normally, these are set to play on channel 3 or 4. Connect the cables that came with it either according to color, or if it just looks like one round cable, connect it to "OUT" on the player and "ANT" on the TV. If you have the colored plugs, Red out to Red in, Yellow out to Yellow in, White out to White in. Turn your TV to one of these channels and try the player. If it doesn't work, try the other channel. When you get it working, you will probably have extra wires. They're to allow for different types of installations.
