Hi ...

If you have the driver CD that you recieved with your printer, follow the below steps to install the saftware:

  1. Turn on your computer.

  2. On your computer quit any open applications, including virus checkers.

  3. Insert the MultiPASS MP730/700 Setup CD-ROM into your CD drive. The [MP Setup] splash screen will appear automatically.

    1. If MP Setup does not start automatically, on the Windows desktop, double-click My Computer (on Windows XP, click Start then click My Computer).

    2. Double-click the CD-ROM icon. If MP Setup does not start, double-click 'Setup.exe' (on Windows XP, 'Setup').

  4. In the MP Setup splash screen, click 'Install MP Drivers'.

Note: For Windows 2000 users, if Service Pack 1 or later is not installed, MP Setup will display a message and installation will be aborted.

  5. Follow the on-screen instructions, clicking the appropriate button to move from one screen to the next.

  6. MP Setup will install some system files and may prompt you to restart your computer. If you are not prompted to restart, click 'Finish' in the MP Drivers Setup window and then proceed to step 7.

    1. If you are prompted, make sure radio button 'Yes, I want to restart my computer now.' is selected in the MP Drivers Setup window and then click 'Finish'. DO NOT remove the CD-ROM at this stage. MP Setup splash screen will open after Windows has restarted.

    2. If you had to restart your computer and the MP Setup screen is not displayed or you closed it, on the Windows desktop, double-click My Computer (on Windows XP, click Start then click My Computer).

    3. Double-click the CD-ROM icon. If MP Setup does not start, double-click 'Setup.exe' (on Windows XP, 'Setup').

  7. In the MP Setup splash screen, click 'Install MP Toolbox.'

  8. Follow the on-screen instructions, clicking the appropriate button to move from one screen to the next.

  9. At the MP Toolbox Setup dialog box, click 'Finish'.

  10. Confirm the MultiPASS is turned on.

  11. Connect the USB cable to the MP730 and computer USB ports. Windows will detect the printer and proceed to install the driver files.

  12. Your MultiPASS includes additional software applications that you can install now or at a later date. To install the software, click 'Install Utility Software' and then proceed through each installation.
You can also download the drivers by visiting the below link and selecting your operating system.

Cannot find my cd installer for hp deskjet d2360. trying to download for free installer. can anyone help?

If you have internet access go to hp downloads from google. If not, connect your printer to your PC (computer) turn it on. If your OS is XP the found new hardware balloon should appear above the icon on the task bar, click the balloon and the add new hardware wizard comes to the screen, read and follow prompts, as it will give you a list of some recent and current hp printer products to choose from. If the balloon as mentioned above does not appear, click start, click control panel, double click add hardware icon, and the add hardware wizard comes on screen, choose your options and follow the prompts. NOTE; if the printer has been installed on your computer previously, and your OS has not been altered (formatted) this is an easy task for the wizard, as there is a shadow copy of the necessary drivers stored in the memory of your hard drive. Hope this helps.

Cant install canon ip90 printer. Downloaded driver not found by wizard.

Do this:

In XP default view, from the Start menu, select Printers and Faxes, and then double-click Add Printer.

  1. Make sure that the USB cable is unplugged from your computer and your printer. USB devices work differently from older devices and usually need to have the drivers installed before you connect the device.

If you don't have an installation program, plug the USB cable into your computer and your printer. This should trigger the Add New Hardware Wizard.
Uncheck all options except

Specify a Location.
Click Browse.
Browse the folder where you have your downloaded driver
OK.

If the driver not match you have a wrong driver.
In that case go back to Canon and get the right one and do the same procedure again.

Have a great day
Pablo :-)

Need to install my Canon S900 photo printer to new laptop running windows vista SP1

Hi,
Adding a printer in Vista is fairly similar to the process used in Windows XP, with only a few subtle differences. If your new printer is connected to a USB port, it will be automatically detected and you won’t have to do anything further. Vista will automatically install the printer drivers and configure the printer for you. The logical printer will appear within the Printers folder where you can make any changes to its configurable properties. In some cases, you may have to manually install the printer using the Add Printer Wizard. Once you physically attach the printer to your computer and turn it on, you can complete the steps listed below.
  1. Click Start and click Control Panel.
  2. Click Hardware and Sound then Printers.
  3. Click Add a printer. This launches the Add Printer Wizard.
  4. Click Add a local printer.
  5. Use the drop down arrow to select the port. Click Next.
  6. Select the Manufacturer of your printer and the model. Click Next. If your printer is not listed, click the Have Disk button. You’ll need to locate the manufacturer-supplied drivers on your computer or disk.
  7. Type in a name for the printer. This is the name that will appear under the printer icon in the Printers folder. Click Next.
  8. If you want to print a test page, click the Print a test page button. Click Next.
  9. Click Finish at the Summary window.
To download the drivers, Please click on the below link or copy the URL and paste it in your web browser. Select the operating system you are using and click on the download to download the driver.

I would like to install a canon i550x printer to a windows xp computer.I have no disc or documentation for this printer though as was given it. Have tried to add a printer by going to control panel but...

Here is the link to the drivers and software for this printer:
http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&tabact=DownloadDetailTabAct&fcategoryid=331&modelid=8046

This link goes to the picture software:
http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&tabact=DownloadDetailTabAct&fcategoryid=331&modelid=8046

This link will take you to several user manuals and guides:
http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&tabact=DownloadDetailTabAct&fcategoryid=331&modelid=8046
They are in PDF form so you have to have acrobat reader installed.

Download the above to your desktop for easy finding.
Rebooting your pc with the printer connected will prompt it to 'see' the printer and bring up the add new hardware wizard.
Direct the wizard to where the driver files are and it should install
them automatically.
