I have Sony Bravia model KDL-55NX720 & it won't turn on.It has 5 blinking red lights.According to a diagram that I found for this TV, I have replaced the TCon Board and the LED Panel. Any suggestions?

if your modal no is KDL-55EX640 & red light is blinking 5 times then your led panel is defective so please change your led panel in this case

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes).From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it.This will make repair easy.These are called blinking codes. Normally yes. Blinking twice is power protection trip. Look first for open resistor, broken fuses (and short circuits or broken transistors / ICS if thats the case).
