Is a goodman cpke30-1b evaporator coil compatable with a goodman cple30-1

SOURCE: evaporated coil in goodman a/c arpto32-ooc-1a needs replacing...?? How much would it cost... the coil is under warranty but my a/c company says it will be $640 to replace does this sound right??

I charge $350.

There is an access panels on some package units. If you cant find the access panel then remove the top. I use a garden house. Make sure to kill the power to the unit before servicing.

Remove the cover in front of the coil, If the line set runs thru this cover try to slide it out of the way, some units have a triangle shaped sheet metal covering the end of the coil, if so remove.
The dirty side of the coil will be, on the air filter side of the coil, if the coil is very dirty use a vacuum with a with a brush and vacuum off the worst of the debris, some fins are soft so pay attention to them along the process. Using something like 409 and a pump up sprayer or squirt bottle spray the coil, start at the bottom and work your way up, this is so the water will drain into the drain pan.
When using the 409 and water watch that the water is not dripping into the furnace if so use a towel and or something to prevent the drips from getting into the furnace, take your time and be thorough.
Please buy a quality air filter, and prevent having to clean the coil again.
