Steering very ******* "Greenfield Mini Mow" how can fix it?
I find when I am mowing, the steering is so tight I have to use two (2) hands to turn a corner. Are there greasing points or oiling points that can rectify this problem?

That would be clock spring. When the itermediate shaft was disconnected the wheel was apparently allowed to turn, and when the steering was re-connected the clock spring was too far turned one direction. You will have to have the wheels turned straight ahead when you install the new one or this will happen again. The new one will come with installation instructions, be sure to follow them.
Something got bent either in the steering linkage or the front axles by the sound of it. Have you taken a close look at all of you front end components to see if it has been bent on one side or the other?
I've noticed this on other Craftsman and MTD mowers. The ones with the one main steering rod from the steering wheel to the left wheel and a connecting rod from the left wheel to the right wheel. I think that since we are advised to mow in a counter-clockwise direction, they design the mowers to turn tighter towards the left. It's in the design just like you suspected.
Hi i have seen this with most greenfield models The only way to fix this problem is to replace the drive clutch assy as it ends up to costly to replace the worn parts : shaft,clutch plates & drive pulleys. In most cases replacing these parts has led to a new assy six months later. Mark.
