Maytag refrigerator mfi2568aes replaced control board in back and input code and saved. now nothing is running but display is fine

Sounds like the thermostat inside the ice maker that allows the heater to come on during harvest cycle is bad. You will need to replace the ice maker.

SOME FRIDGES HAVE A RESET BUTTON IN THE CONTROL BOARD OR ON THE CONTROL BOARD

You should have got a new code for the NEW board. it is a microprocessor. like a password.

If you replaced the board, you need to call Maytag. If a repair person replaced it, they need to come back out and activate it. Could also be a bad board. Either way, best bet is to call Maytag.

This a common problem with these units the high voltage in the main control board is the problem, the main control board in the back will need to be replaced. This runs about 250 dollars for the part. You can order it from this link.

Your control board is bad. Unplug refrigerator and replace it, follow instructions on board to reprogram and you should be good. It's on the back outside of refrigerator under panel. Or, call a repairman to do it for 400.00 plus. Hope this helps,

I had same issue. The control panel had been set to Sabbath mode. Hold down the "DOOR ALARM" button for 3 seconds. Then lights will turn on on both display windows. Scroll using the + and/or - sign on the left side display until "SAB" is shown. Then scroll using the + or - sign on the right side display until OFF is shown. Finally, hold the "DOOR ALARM" button down again for 3 seconds. All should be good to go!

Usually the owners manual would show the error codes so check there first. As for the compressor running, it "should" be cooling if the compressor is running. But lets go back a little, why was the HV board replaced?
