SOURCE: how can i print coby kyros manual

the manufacturing company always has the manuals or maybe even the drivers you need. so go to the coby webpage and search for your MID for your tablet and you should be able to find it quite easily.

How to fix kyros coby mid8024 tablet

Sounds like a corrupted kernel. The only thing you can do is download adb tools and then download the original Coby files for android. without having to do alot of research(if you dont know how to, you will have to research) you can go to go to the coby section, in the forum. There you should be able to find the step by step method. Sorry but this would be about the best help I can give you with out actually doing it myself.

Restore setting after reset

you can only restore what you have backed up on sd or the cloud. anyways just go to your file manager and move whatever is on your sd to internal memory. or go to cloud website and download from there

Problem with V. 811 Onda Tablet

hi Akram.
this is all i could find out.
When the tablet is turned off, keep home button pressed.
Now turn on tablet while still holding the home button.
When white android figure appears, release both buttons.
You will get into recovery mode, you can select "restore factory settings" there.
Download the right firmware here: ONDA

Extract the content to the root of your sd card (since you cannot use your tablet, i suggest using a cardreader + pc or another tablet? or try to hook your tablet to the pc and hope it recognizes it)

There should be 5-6 files now on your SD card.

Turn on tablet while holding home button, untill white android figure appears then release.
It should update your firmware now...
or you could try this link on how to do a hard reset.
but do so at your own risk.
Onda V811 hard reset format factory mod recovery rom install ..
or try this link for more info.
hard reset tablet onda v811 Google Search
or this one.

How to update my firmweare

You need to know first if your device is "rooted". If it is, do not proceed.
I also have an Android but it's a smaller one but I would assume things are identical if not the same. Anyways, look for the cogwheel or anyway that you can access the settings, scroll all the way down and tap on "About Device". The first thing that comes up is "Software Update". I hope that helped.

I cant remember my cruz pattern to sign into the whole system. what can i do?

There isn't anyway to bypass the security pattern on an android device. So basically the only option you would have is to do a factory restore and start from the beginning. You can also use this opportunity to update to the newest firmware if you haven't done so.

The update can be downloaded from here. After downloading copy it to the root (not in a folder) of an SD card ensuring that the file is named 'PD_INX7E_ENG_6410POP.ZIP'.

Insert your SD card into the external SD slot on the device. With the device off, press and hold the volume up button. While continuing to hold the volume up button, press and hold the power button. Continue holding both buttons. The 'Cruz' screen will come up and then an android screen with a status meter will come up. Now release both buttons and let the update apply. When it's done the device will reboot and should start normally.

This does clear the internal memory of the device, so you will lose all the programs that you've installed. Any data on the internal SD card and external SD card will not be touched.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions.
