Screen will not display any picture despite menu and tuner working?
The TV seems to be working as the menu and input screens display and function properly. however when selecting any TV channel it displays the channel detail including the current program but then does not display any picture or have any sound. The same applies to all other input sources.
All input sources seem to work, as you get No Signal message if the cable is disconnected, then goes blank when reconnected. Just no picture!
Is this a hardware fault of firmware issue?
Have done a factory reset ... no change! Anyone please !
Re: Screen will not display any picture despite menu and...
Fault at its main digital board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.
Before going further; try a hard reset first. If it does not help you, replace the main digital board. There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; visit the site linked here.

Make sure you haven't selected the wrong input using the input or source button on your remote control. You may have to cycle through several choice until you get to TV or Tuner or something similar. Cycle slowly, some TV's take a few seconds to render the picture one you choose a different input source.
first press the menu button and check the settings of you tv.check if they are set to antena or cable.check also the video input if they are functioning.if video input is working the problem is in your tuner section.check the connection of your cable to tv tuner.
I know you can that you can change this by simply hooking up a scan tool for specific year. There are language options accessible for situations like this. Here is a sample of what can be changed using VAG 5052 or equivalent scanners.

Tries to reset the tv Tuner board back to factory setting.By go into the tv menu.Go to PICTURE,go down to reset the Tuner board. All the HDMI ports should work now. Not,than the HDMI port 2 is shorted and dead, don't used the HDMI port 2.The tv should work fine,or tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish Tuner board for the replacement.
It sounds to me like you have a tuner issue, I have seen this before. If you have a good picture from other sources and they have the same antenna input, the tuner is suspect.
I hope that this helps you solve your issue.
Thanks

1. By View your DVR, Do you mean you can actually see a picture?
2. By "Switch Channels", are these channels being tuned by the TV Tuner?
Your LCD Panel is OK Since you have a Picture (input display in right corner)
If you can see a picture with your DVR, VCR, DVD or any external source then your TVs Video Processing is OK....if not you will probably need to replace the responsible PWB for this function
If you can see a picture with the external sources and only the TV's Tuner is not showing Video, The PWB responsible for Tuning within the TV should be replaced.
Also, if all problems are associated with only the DVR (I assume this is Sat or Cable), then it is most likely that this device is not functioning properly. Possibly lost signal or deauthorized.
First check Tv menu comes on screen?
Connect DVD Player at any a-v input and confirm picture on tv. This will confirm that tv has no problem except in tuning circuit.
Now check Antenna / cable hooked up in RF input of tv properly.
Perform Auto-Search / Auto-Tuning / Auto-channel on TV menu and tune all available channels.
Still blue screen? means TV Tuner looks bad.
