May have to wait a couple of days until the defrost cycle goes thru a few times so the moisture (frost ) will clear from the coils and freezer starts cooling normally . Should be fine after that .

There is no reset for the alarm. The alarm goes off when you are not maintaining temperature.
During the time the door was ajar, warm air got into the freezer either icing up and locking the cooling fan or forming a block of ice on the cooling coils (Restricting cooling air flow.)
The best thing you can do, unless you want a $300.00 plus service call to defrost everything, is to turn power off to the freezer. Open the freezer door. Have plenty of old towels to soak up the water in the bottom of the freezer as it defrost.
You did not provide a model number which is located on the inside wall of the freezer. Every 8-10 hours your freezer will completely shout down for 20-30 minutes where only the light works and the defrost heater turns on. The ice build up is too much for the defrost heater to handle.
In some freezers the defrost mode is in the control board, in others it is a separate component that you can repeat trip using a flat head screw drive.

From what you have described it sounds like your freezer may possibly be in the OFF position or lock which may occur after a power outage or alarm. In the meantime, let's attempt resetting your freezer by pressing and releasing the "UP" arrow three times within three seconds or the "DOWN" arrow three times within three seconds. If an LC appears, then your control is locked. Then repress and hold the control lock key and try the procedure above. It likely will tell you in your owners manual, but if you push & hold the alarm button it should stop after several moments ( I think it may actually be 30-60 sec.) That should reset the alarm. However, if the thermistor senses the temp. to be too warm the alarm will return.

if the alarm is sounding its probably trelling you the freezer is at too high a temperature. plug it in and leave it plugged in, it can take several hours to re freeze
