Is this at home or on a wifi hotspot, or free hotspot like McDonalds?

At home you need to go to settings - Wifi, then access your home network (mine is called Bell 863), and then click Properties and add the access code. Then whenever you are at home the device will automatically log on.

At free wifi hotspots, you have to log on the same to the named hotspot, BUT then you must open a webpage to a NEW page (not one that you have visited recently and you will get a redirect. Accept the terms and conditions and once the page changes, you are in and can do anything.

Received Kindle as Gift want to change from buyers name to my name? How

very simply, you access the Kindle devices "Settings" page and in the section that says register/deregister, you would click on the deregister option, once the device is online with the built-in wireless network connection. After which, the device is ready to be registered to a new account.
Please be aware that just changing the devices account registration does NOT delete any content; also changing registration does not provide the new owner the legal access to the books already downloaded to your Kindle, the original account that purchased the books, will retain ownership.
There is no way to give your purchased book library to the new owner of your old Kindle. If the new owner likes the books, then they will have to buy them on their own, to retain future downloading rights.

My new kindle fire keeps rejecting my password so i cant sign in

Access your wireless router and change the security settings from WPA or whatever to none and APPLY or SAVE.

Then immediately after, change the security setting back to the orginal security setting WPA or whatever.

Try it again.

If no joy, go to your Kindle and find the wireless settings and find the entry for your wireless router and delete or forget that network.

Restart your kindle and try logging into the wireless router again.

NBN was connected yesterday but cant figure out how to input the new security code on my iPad. The new mini iPad connected without hassle and so did the PC. The iPad doesn't ask for the security code it...

This may fix your problem... Clear the cache that is stored in the settings.go to general settings ...look for safari ....empty browser history and cache.

then scan for any networks on the wifi settings....when you get to your router....don't enter password or try to connect to it....click right chevron to get to page that says forget network ....then rescan .....this time enter your password....it should connect.....Apple products are not happy if you change or update passwords on routers already configured.

3g dongle support

Hi
Seems like it needs to be configured, though not all tablets support dongles i.e Karbonn-Samsung Galaxy and lenovoA1000 & A30
First, (1) put 3G sim into dongle and connect dongle to tablet. You may have to wait several minuets for tablet to find internet, if it does not, continue as below.
2. Now go to 'settings' and select the 'More' option .
3. Select 'Mobile Networks' > 'Access Point' Name (APN) 4. Then select New APN option.

5. All you have to do now is make the following changes in the bracketed entities [ Name, APN and Dial Number]:-
-> Set the network name. Eg:- For Tata photon just write Tata or TP or anything, as you like it.
-> Set the APN,> search the net for your service provider's APN. Then write it precisely.
-> All the dongles come with dial number. Check your dongle purchase paper or the manual or just search it Google. And then fill the same here as the Dial Number, save and you are done. eg. For Tata Docomo it is #999 and Reliance it is #777.
NOTE:
After plugging the dongle, a default APN gets created in the APN setting's page.Try to feed the settings by creating a new APN.
Karbonn, Samsung Galaxy and Lenovo A1000 & A3000 tablet does not support dongle.
By far and large the above steps will work with all the dongles and Tablets. You could also go to 'You Tube' and seach for Video info which may be quite helpful. Regards Silverfox160

Unable to register my new Kindle

I believe that would be your wireless network. From a laptop that is already connected to a wireless network, choose Start, Control Panel, Network and Internet, Network and Sharing Center, then look for Connections. You should see your wireless network name (possibly in parentheses) then click on the name. By clicking into that section, you should also find other information you will need to set up your Kindle. Enjoy!

Accessing my bellsouth email account on samsung galaxy

Set your mail settings as below, but do it while you're connected to WiFi rather than cellular data.

Incoming mail server type: POP3
Incoming (POP): pop.att.yahoo.com
Incoming User Name: Full AT&T email address, including domain (e.g. yourname @ bellsouth.net, but without the spaces... the forum won't let me type it correctly because I'm new here)
Incoming mail port #: 995, secure connection (SSL) checked

Outgoing (SMTP): smtp.att.yahoo.com, with authentication (same user and password as POP)
Outgoing User Name: Full AT&T email address, including domain (e.g. yourname @ bellsouth.net)
Outgoing mail port # 465, secure connection (SSL) checked
