I have a problem with "brother DCP-J140W" printer, it shown at the LCD "Init unable 4F" i was thinking the problem must be the printer head, can it be repaired or just replace the head ?

Error 4F means your printhead is RIP, mostly due to bad quality ink, the only one way to fx the printer is changing the printhead but... is that really worth it?

The printer have its own initialization but seem to fail to complete initialization process. Check and clear the carriage jam, open check for motor failure in the carriage system.
Error 4f means that your carete is damaged, probable after using not oryginal cartridges, it's reportable but to expensive. If you used brother ink, you can do an complaint I in brother service point.
