Remedy:<>Reset power, or execute [Clear error] in Test mode. <>Some errors (such as PCB disconnection) may not be cleared by executing [Clear error]. <>Even if an S error occurs, it may be possible to continue operations using another unit. Therefore, certain error types require a specific reset procedure (described in Error Point).
Take it in for service, or replace all the sensors if you can find them for sale.
So you probably have a Canon Pixma printer with an error code E27 = "Waste ink absorber full or platen waste ink absorber full".
These two tutorial videos will teach you:
1. How to clean the MAIN ink absorbers: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VVpjqBr7KjU&feature=fvwrel
But there's a second ink absorber - the PLATEN one - which he does not talk about. The PLATEN is in the black plastic directly underneath the printhead as it slides back and forth. CLEAN THE PLATEN TOO before following the Part 2 video to reset both the MAIN and PLATEN ink absorbers in your software. And don't repeat his mistake when putting the printer back together - the springs he points to at 4:30 WILL fall out!
2. How to reset your printer's internal firmware to remove error alert: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4IrBdw7el2E&feature=fvwrel
P.S. Of course it is much easier to bring it to ther printer service (even better if your warranty service can do it for free, if the full ink absorbers error was not caused by too intensive printing, i.e. not your fault).
there are two reason behind the problem . 1 .the problem may come from the logic board.
2.and the platen sensor. change the platen sensor. if not solved change the board.
