SOURCE: xerox workcentre m20i turns off

Sounds like the machine software is corrupted.
Try this first. Turn the machine off, then on back, there is a panel on the back cover with to plastic tabs that will release it. Pop that off and remove both memory sticks.
With the sticks removed, turn the machine on and let it come to ready. Shut the machine off , replace the memories and turn the machine back on, That reloads the machine software cleanly.
If that does not work. Go to Xerox.com, click on support and drivers, enter M10 into the search box, then click on Drivers and Downloads. Once there go to the firmware and download in with the instructions . I think the level is at 3.04 now. follow the instructions to install the firmware.
One of those 2 should resolve your problem.

SOURCE: HP Officejet 7310 All-in-One Power will not turn on

I am thinking that this is well over a year old, but if not, even if it is under warranty, consider the cost of shipping it back VS a new one.

If you could access the power button you could do a continuity
test and see if it is the power button. Then if that is ok, what is it.

I don't believe that the HP site has a checker,so if you did not register you would have to check your receipt. Then you have to get a RMA, but if it is under warrant it might be worth it.
If you have any questions please post back, everyone is more than willing to help.

SOURCE: Power went off and on and now I can't get the MX850 to start.

If you can move the printhead to the center, try removing the inks and the printhead. Try to turn on with printhead removed, if power comes on you need a new printhead, if it doesn't come on the power supply or main logic board is bad.

SOURCE: pixma ip1600 won't turn on. No power cord just a cord from printer to computer. I unpluged the entire system and waited 15 minutes and it still won't power up. Any suggestions?

You need the power cord which has a polarized plug on one end. The other end (a figure 8 like shape) will fit into the printer. See http://gdlp01.c-wss.com/gds/7/0900005347/01/ip1600esi_us.pdf . Amazon and other sites have replacement power cords for Canon inkjets and inkjet multifunction printers. One source: http://www.amazon.com/Canon-ip1600-ip6600d-ip6700d-Printer/dp/B003XT2LKC .

I hope this helps.

HP 1315 printer won't turn on

I have an HP printer too, but it's HP 2050. When i plug it in it usually makes a noise and then the power button blinks. To turn it on requires me to hold the power button down for a few seconds until the power button light stays on. If you haven't tried yet, try pushing down and hold and see if it turns on. Hope this helps :)

Canon mp530 error 6500

The 6500 error code is a logic board error code. The PCI Bus error is detected by the ASCI. Sounds like it needs new logic board. Solution is first of all you can try to reset your printer -

  • Turn the printer off with the Power button (if available).
  • Disconnect the data cable from the printer.
  • Unplug the printer's power cord for approximately 10 minutes, and then plug it back in.
  • Turn the printer back on. If this works you're done,
If it not works then try following

  • After confirming that the printer is powered on, open the paper output tray.
  • Open the top cover and wait until the print head moves to the center.
  • Open the inner cover and check that ink tanks are properly seated.
  • Properly seated
  • Press down on each ink tank until a click is heard.
  • Close the inner cover and top cover

if reset method not works for you then you go for the new logic board replacement
Best of luck

or

Hold down the stop/reset and then push the power button while the printer is on. The printer should shut off then wait 30 seconds and then hold the stop/reset again and push the power button and the printer should turn on with the error cleared.
