I would try another usb cord and wall adapter. If this does not work, you can find out if the tablet is still under warranty. If it is not covered then you will have to find out if it is better to repair or replace the tablet. You probably want to install a case and screen protector on the tablet he ends up using.

SOURCE: I got my son an emerson tablet and charging port is loose can I use a charging pad to charge it

Hi
You do not say how long ago you got this tablet. If it is less than a year, I suggest that you take it back to the vendor with whom you have the sales contract, as it would appear in this case to be not of "Merchantable Quality".
Hope this is helpful, if so would you please register that with Fixya

SOURCE: My son's pendo pad 7 won't turn on at all. I've currently got it on the charger but unsure if it's even charging :/ how can I tell if it's actually charging? Please help.

Unfortunately if there are no lights on the charger itself there is no way to tell. If you are just getting a blank screen and no indication that the LEDs behind the screen are lighting up or anything is happening at all, you may have a mechanical hardware failure. This could have been caused from water, a drop or some other hazard like extreme heat.

Your best bet is to find a local PC repair shop that services tablets or contact the manufacture and arrange a service ticket.

My pendo pad 7 doesnot start , only "aneroid" logo appears on the screen, what to do for it to start.

I am not exactly sure what the issue would be with this. I would contact the support site for the pendo product and see what they have to say. You may need to reload the android OS to make this work.

Pendo pad won't work

Something like this happened to my ipad. We had to do something with hooking it up to the computer and going on iTunes and everything and couldn't figure it out so we had to take it in. You can probably take it in to the company who made it and talk to them. ;) :)

Restore factory settings for a pendopad

I have resolved the pendo pad hard reset lack of procedure and can factory reset a pendo pad that is locked with a passkey or and password full factory reset

First download you pendo pad firmware from here

http://shop.pendo.com.au/index.php/su...

I used the generic firmware 1 download and it worked fine for the TPC7SlV
Then Extract the . img file to you computer

Then you will need the firmware update too called rktools found here

http://download1942.mediafire.com/le9...

extract the zip file to your computer

Now your ready to flash the firmware

1. Power off your tablet with the switch
2. Turn the power switch Back the the on Position
3. Press & hold Side Button with the home picture also called the back/esc key
4. While holding, connect PC and tablet with USB cable (if tablet boot normally, try again)
5. Install the driver for your computer included in the RKtools Folder
6. Tablet should be recognized as "RK281X Device" in Windows
7. Start RKAndroidBatchUpgrade from rktools folder
8. In the bottom of the batch RKAndroidBatchUpgrade programme there should be a green light in the device upgrade area. * if there is no light in the upgrade area and all the numbers are grey then repeat the previous steps
9. Under the setting heading click and select the image file you downloaded from pendo ( will be a .img file if its a .zip file you need to extract it)
10.Click the upgrade button
11. wait till operation is completed

BAM Your pendo is password free, i hope i have created the best and easiest way to do this

***Please note if your wireless or Mobile network do not turn on then you have chosen one of the wrong firmware types from the pendo download site !!! the wireless and mobile network hardware are the only distinguishing features between the firmwares apparently******

How to unlock pendo pad model tpc7slv

Unlocking your Pendo Pad is easy, if you forgot your pattern code. Just keep putting in wrong patterns, you need to do this at least 20 times, sometimes you will be unable to continue for a few seconds after 5, 10, 15 attempts, but just wait it out & keep going. Eventually it will ask you to enter your Google email & password & Bingo, you`re back in!!
