Just plug FS-5U or FS-5L or EV5 / FV300L (Roland),or other external switch to SUB EXP PEDAL.
You can also use pedal switch that you create by yourself.
Use stereo phone jack and cable.
It can be function for 1 or 2 switch.
Setting function for SUB-EXP-PEDAL is at UTILITY-GLOBAL menu.
You can set switch 1 or 2 for what do you want to function each switch at the external pedal.
If you want to connecting external expression pedal (FV300L),just plug it to SUB-EXP-PEDAL. Setting is same as above.
Did you try to get to Global mode, and then check if the tune is 440 hz? Check the Global Settings. The tuning might either be altered or the key transposed..
You can try this. STEP 1: Set Program protect and Combi Protect to OFF. - GLOBAL - Using PAGE+ or PAGE-, find untill the display show "3A-MEMORY PROTECT". Set the parameter to OFF by using YES or NO button. STEP 2: Data Load. - GLOBAL. - Using PAGE+ or PAGE-, find untill the display show "05A-PRESET DATA". Change ALL to PRG (your case). Use Left/Right Arrow button to moving cursor. Choose "PRE-a" (your case). Move cursor to "OK?". Press YES when "OK" blinking for confirm. Exit (Go to PROG button).
So you're saying with headphones you also only hear one side? I would suspect the internal amp is panned all to one side. There are also several other settings in this unit where pan can be set so you may have to check several areas. If you don't have any specific custom settings made I would try a restore to factory defaults. If that doesn't resolve it you likely have a hardware failure which is likely not repairable. I strongly suspect a panning issue though.
For Combi/Multi patches you can disable control changes for each sound under EDIT 6D but this also switches off other control change instructions (pan, expression, pedal etc.).
Somewhere under GLOBAL settings you should be able to find the modulation wheel Depth setting and set it to 0 which should stop your mod wheel from working but you could achieve the same effect by just keeping the mod wheel pulled all the way down.

I am not familiar with your exact model, but if the plastic "hinge" for the button has broken, it is possible to "fix" it. This is not a DIY repair though. Can you tell me where you are located so I can perhaps suggest a repair location?
I don't know what problem you have but try this site. http://www.korguksupport.co.uk/sitemap.cfm I hope the info you need is there. Also try googling the synthzone.
