If its a leaking gasket if the heating element is having short circuit or have a measure with the metal exterior is very rare must be only a melting wire, or a bad switch there is also a temp fuse between the element and the power cord.

I do not believe it is the control board. I suspect an electric shortage, did your electricity recently go out?

I cannot take off the lid of the Pro chef and manual is unclear. How do I unlatch it?

Manual Pro Chef PU 100
I have received the hot water boiler, but it does not stop boiling the water. Instead of going to "Keep Warm", the machine continues to boil the water indefinitely. We left the boiler on and came back after 2 hours, and it didn't stop heating the water. Therefore, I refilled the boiled, turned off the machine, unplugged it, plugged it back in, and then turned it back on. The water continues to boil without going to "Keep Warm". I require a solution to the issue or a replacement as soon as possible.

I purchased a PRO Chef electric hot pot a few months ago. I am very happy with the product but unfortunately the pump no longer works. Do you have any idea where I can get a new top piece?

pro chef electric water pot is defective. I bought 2 & both had pumps that stopped working. A friend has the same problem. Best way to fix the problem is not to buy this piece of junk!
