SOURCE: Please scan channels
try hitting the input button or go to channel 3. the sat box can only output to channel 3 or 4 or if using Dish network try channel 66 or what ever the channel it outputs. it also can output via video cables so check each video setting on the set. make sure the box is on first.

Hi albertogiler,
I am happy to help, you will need to attach a antenna to the tv to pick up OTA over the air signals, depending on your location you may be able to use a set of rabbit ears, I have provided a link to a site that will explain in depth.

SOURCE: I have a Westinghouse 26 inch TV.
I carried my Westinghouse TV to the basement. Unplugged the antenna from the digital converter box and connected it to my digital TV. I then re-scanned for channels and found channel 9. After carrying the Westinghouse TV back upstairs, I connected the original set-up and tuned to channel 9 which was now showing on the screen as no signal. From that point I moved my VHF dipoles until I had located the correct position for reception. A little labor intensive, but I was fortunate to have another antenna that was receiving channel 9.
SOURCE: Auto Scan doesn't pick up any channels.
In the main settings, there should be an option for AIR or CATV, air is for non-cable and CATV is for cable tv. This has to be on the correct setting before you autoscan

Hi Tat2,
First: If you do not have a cable hookup, if you are using an antennae, you should get a converter box.
It handles the scanning, the decoding of sub-channels (I have four OPB channels), signal strength filtering. It's remote, controls both the box and your TV.
It hooks up between your TV and antenna. Set your TV to channel 4, click the on button. The first time menu comes up, scans the channels and lets you know when its done. You'll find channels you never knew existed.
They're easy.
Best regards
Mike
Well im not an expert on this but by wife keeps deleting channels... you can just go to setting and anything the reads channel search or digital search just run it or scan... your tv will scan all channels... make sure that your antenna is connected or digital receiver... when you tv searches it needs something connected to the input of the tv antenna... you can try goggling it too
