most likely something is stuck in the pump. it could also be that you are not using high effiency detergent.
SOURCE: loud squeal during wash and spin cycles, maytag atlantis washer
Squealing normal
occurs due to belt slippage. I would check your belts (look for cracks.
Check the belt tension as well, most washers have an adjustment,
normally on the motor that allows you to increase the tension of the
belt.
If part of a belt gets torn and it is long enough, it will hit any part of the washing machine within range and make a clicking noise at every revolution of the motor.
I am pretty sure you need new belts. You should be able to remove a few screws and open the back cover. Between the pulleys there is a tensioner...loosen that so you can remove the belt easily. replace it with a new belt and adjust the tension.
hope this helps
SOURCE: Frigidaire front load washer won't drain or spin
This often is a drain hose that is too low or a drain hose that has been pushed too far down inside the stand pipe....the water is actually siphoning out of the washer. Do not "seal" the drain hose to the house plumbing pipe, this will also allow the water to be siphoned out.

I removed the three screws, and lower cover cleaned the few pennies, screws and nasty gunk build up from the filter. The wash machine seems to function as it did prior to the clogged issue. Thank you everyone !!!

Maytag Atlantis washer goes thruout washing cycle, but dosen't simse or spin....
That's a great question, Roth!
Based off the information you have provided your Frigidaire washer is making a loud noise during the spin cycle. This could be an issue with your bel, motor, or tub. In order to find the cause of your noise you may need to disassemble your washer. This is not a simple DIY job and I would recommend contacting a technician to come out. This will help prevent any future issues or personal injuries. -Matt
Hello friend, thanks for your post!
Based off what you have described your Frigidaire front loading washer will not fill with water at the beginning of the cycle and it goes straight into tumble. This seems like a possible miscommunication between your control panel and water valve. I would recommend performing a reset on your washer and you can do that by disconnecting the power cord for roughly ten minutes. If you continue to have issues with your washer I would suggest having a professional technician out to perform a proper diagnosis. This will help you to avoid any unnecessary part purchases. Hope this information is helpful to you. -Matt
