The 33E error can indicate a problem with the ice maker water fill tube heater. (This makes sure that ice doesn't form and cause the fill tube to break.) To attempt to reset the error, press and hold the Energy Saver and Lighting keys on the touch pad for 8+ seconds. These are the top buttons on each side of the temperature display.
If that reset doesn't help, you need to replace the left door. That is available here: http://www.searspartsdirect.com/model-number/rf323tedbsraa0001/1482/0161000.html . It's part 1.
I hope this helps.

First I would check cold control. Thats where you turn it off, if your temp is not warm. it seems
to be defective and not shutting off. If your temp is warm proceed with the following.
I would check the fan in the freezer. Listen to see if it is running
It moves air to the ref from the freezer
Then check to see if freezer control is turned WARMER, which makes the Ref. colder
Also this might be a common Defrost problem, Ice
is not being melted by the defrost system. The fan can't blow through the coils into the fridge.
Take out back panel of freezer to check for ice buildup. The coils should be clean.
There are three components to a defrost system- a heater, heater thermostat, and a timer unless you have a defrost electronic card.
Its best handled by a Technician but you could possibly do it by taking your model number to the nearest appliance parts store and asking for the parts. They are mostly located in freezer ,behind back panel on freezer coils.except the card which is usually located in ref The parts store will have info
Also check fan undernearh Ref in the rear
Clean condenser coils underneath
Check cold control (thats where you turn it colder)

you may find the blast chiller fan has an issue
perhaps its failed... causing only the bottom of the freezer to go frozen or worse...
its inside the panel at the back of the freezer unit 6 screws and perhaps some plastic caps on them
the plastic caps may be the fixings so take them out carefully
you can take the panel off check its not jammed with ice and the blade moves/spins freely
if its not moving mostly its gone...
or hard to move the vanes then its sized up bearings
if you cant hear it wiring anyway..
try to leave the freezer etc off for several days with the door open
can take like 10 days to fully clear out the ice from inside tubes etc {not good}
inside the back of fridge freezers apart from the fan
is a fast heat element for frost free and fast defrost and freeze
so all must work and be clean
at the base of the back unit is a V shaped channel that takes away the water from the freezer blast unit
so if the tube at the bottom of the V shape inside the back cover gets blocked
water builds up and it will never defrost properly for less than 5 or 6 days then freeze up fast
as the water sits in the back cover
so
to solve it you need to
take the 6 screws out the freezer back plate
ease it off and then clean out and fully defrost the freezer unit
watch out for any sensors mounted to this freezer panel
and the V channels in the fridge and freezer with pipe cleaner brushes from the local home brew shop and salt
and add some salt too the V channels and pipes
they lead to the evaporator tray mounted above the warm compressor so as to get rid of water from iside
but they only work till too much ice builds up
and your defrost ritual goes like past 3 months or 6 months for a 3 star freezer
so you need to do the above
then test again
make sure of good clearance and clean the back out 4 " off the wall
sometimes !! there is a thermal fuse on the heating element of the freezer inside the back panel unit of upright freezers
the scenario is the fan goes the heating element overheats the thermal fuse goes
and the freezer reports an error
you may find you have to replace the fan and thermal fuse ...
and a really good clean of the V channel and pipes and evaporator
and move it off the wall
hey presto
so some food for thought...
most often just a clean
and perhaps a new fan
most often it just gums up the tubes and defrost not too often
then the fan jams
perhaps burns
if you find you cant find the exact fan
just use a universal fan type from ebay etc
about a 10 er or less and do some metal work too fit it
ive done this with over 10 units
and now they work magic
usually its the fan that fails and an ice monster grows
and the freezer packs in
and perhaps the heating fuse goes
so ... this is the issue for sure
