According to your observation in the black flickering lines this fault is from your t-con board there may be a loosed solder or cold solder from the t-con or to the logic board. This kind of trouble is fixable but it should be done in actual testing of the unit to be sure where the fault is. I suggest that you should contact a technician to do it for you and save you from stress. Good day and best regards.
Hi that can be two things. First your LCD screen might be bad the second thing is your T-con board might be bad. The only way to find out is to actually replace the T-con board. If the line goes away that was your problem if it does not then it's your screen. You can find parts for that TV at www.interliquidparts.com
The tv board call the T-CON decoders board is dying, that why this problems are appearing. This T-CON decoders board it sit right on the middle bottom of the LCD screen panel.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish T-CON decoders board for the replacement.
The T-con board failure or LVDS cable connection loose may cause the problem, you can try to reconnect the LVDS cable first. Knowledge obtain from: Real case of repair by myself.
Yes,This problems is easy to fix.U know how to solders?Take the tv aparts.Resolders the video board holes socket that connect the video board to crt tube.
When you have video display problems such as shadows and lines that go away after warming up, or come and go during viewing, it is usually the LVDS cable and T CONN board going bad. The screen can have one of the following or combinations of blurs, different layers of brightness and lines. It could be the backlight but most of the problems with the LNT4661F have been this. I had the shadow and line problem and replaced both the cable and board for $120 and that fixed my problem. The TV was only 18 months old. Since I had the TV apart, I went ahead and replaced the capacitors on the power supply board so I wouldn’t run into the clicking problem that also affects this model TV. You can find the parts numbers for the LNT4661F cable and board below. You can find links to YouTube ( Part 1 & 2) to show how to replace the capacitors. Good luck.
