Try reverting to the old version, check if the games are still on the drive of the system. You could also re download the games you had purchased if that's a thing that you could maybe possibly do.

hi your previous psp version is 3.80 m33 if yes your using custom firmware that why you can play game to your memory stick the problem is you upgrade your psp firmware to sony official firmware 5.01 you reinstall your firwmware again using custom firmware like 5.00 m33-3 cfw below with m33 or OE

Make on a memory stick the folder PSP, in that folder a folder called GAME, under this folder a folder called UPDATE.

Copy EBOOT.PBP on the memory card to \PSP\GAME\UPDATE.
Putt the memory card in your psp, go in the xmb to the game\memory stick menu and run the update.
