I have problems with my adf feeder. Before it begins to scan it moves until the middle of the page. So I always get only the half page as graphic. How can I solve the problem and adjust the adf feeder?

If the scratch is not to deep you can polish it out with lots of elbow grease and cigarette ashes. Their are also products n the market to polish scratches out of glass. A really light rubbing compound like for 3M might work.

Hi,It could be that you are running out of memory. Try using a lower
quality scan setting to determine if that is the issue. (If more of the
document is scanned then Memory is likely your problem.) If not try
reloading the software.

1. Make sure your documents meet the following conditions before loading them into the Automatic Document Feeder:
Make
sure you don't load more than 30 sheets of Letter, Legal, A4, or B5
size paper in the Automatic Document Feeder. Load only documents that
meet the following specifications in the Automatic Document Feeder.
Size
Width 3.94 to 8.5 inches (100 to 215.9 mm)
Length 5 to 14 inches (127 to 355.6 mm)
Thickness
0.002 to 0.006 inches (0.07 to 0.16 mm)
Weight
12 lb to 21 lb (60 to 105 g/m²)
Paper type
High-quality bond paper
Printing type
Documents printed with impact printers, laser printers, or facsimile machines
For
the best results, all of the sheets you load at one time should be the
same size. If you load sheets of differing sizes, carefully follow the
loading and scanning instructions for mixed-size documents.
Remove
any documents from the document table and make sure there is no dust on
the glass before loading documents in the Automatic Document Feeder.
CAUTION:
Do not feed photographs or valuable original artwork into the Automatic
Document Feeder. Misfeeding may wrinkle or damage the original. Scan
high-quality color or halftone documents on the document table instead.

There is a speck of dirt or some such on the ADF Scan glass not the flatbed iteself. As the paper travels over the glass the speck of dirt is being seen by the scanner making a "line" appear on the entire length of the scan.
This article provides the self-diagnostic
steps necessary to evaluate top-to-bottom streaks that appear when
copying or scanning.
Important! This is seldom a scanner hardware failure.
The main reason for this anomaly is debris or marks on the scanner glass that is used for Auto document feeder (ADF) page scans.
