My panasonic dvd CN-S300WD does not work, Since i disconnected the battery terminal. Since then the screen just display EC:19. What could be the problem.

Hi.

EC1 means "External Channel 1". EC! indicates one of the eternal connections. If only EC1 is displayed and you get no picture then you have the input tuned on the wrong connector. Try using the source/input select button on DVD remote to find the right input.

If the On screen display belongs to the TV the source/input select button on TV remote.

If EC1 is displayed and you can play movie, than that is normal.
