Static noise coming from headset. The headset has been making this noise for 3 or more days.

Its worked flawlessly for several years now, but lately the foam earpiece that connects to the battery and speaker easily falls off. Maybe there is a loose connection? Any ideas?

Most headphones (wireless) have a tuning wheel that allows you to find your headphone channel pair to base set. It sounds that while checking your foam ear piece you may have moved this dial / wheel. After locating (probably near volume) the control for tune, place headphones on and slowly move control for tuning. You should hear something move control to strongest signal.
your base also has settings switch for channel helpful if you have more then one pair in house, on different TV. Play with both to find best volume.

SOURCE: I purchased the Jabra BT2035

you need to intorduce again the jabra blutooth to your device. deleting jabra from the list make it forget the connection.

set your jabra to find mode by pressing the poer button for more than 5 seconds wait to blink, and find it using your device. it will again ask for a passcode and it will connect afterward.

You need a new one, the batteries only last a couple of years.

My xbox microphone makes a loud noise at random times which then my friends tell me microphone is making a noise i disconnect but then it comes back soon to make the noise

The wire on your headset could be loose. Every time you move your wire, you could either talk through it clearly or otherwise it will make a static noise.
The only solutions I have for you are:
  1. Buy a new compatible headset
  2. Fix the wire (NOTE: It is difficult)

I have been experiencing static noise/crackling from my front left and right speakers just recently. (I have a 5.1 dell system - the front center - attached to the monitor and rear speakers do not emit...

This seems like at cables have gone bad or either the connections in the speakers went bad. Its best to replace them unless you know how to disassemble and re-soder the connections.

Unit worked flawlessly for several years. Now when I put in a blank disc, it spins it for about 5 minutes to "initialize" then ejects it as invalid. Help.

When mine acts up I turn it off, unplug the power in the back, and while holding in the power button up front, I plug it back in. When you ley go of the power button the light will first go green then shut off to red and you can turn it back on to test. It doesn't work for all bugs but it has worked for me in the past for a few glitches. I also have tried uplugging for a few days to get bugs and perhaps static out. A good cleaning with a dvd cleaning disk never hurt, and rubbing the unit down with a anti-static dryer sheet can sometimes alleviate static issues after a rest unplugged.

Plantronics cs50 head set with lifter has STATIC

Try a system reset:
1.  Lift the headset off of the charging cradle, but make sure the headset is turned off.  It will be off if the green light on the front of the base is not lit.  If it's not, push the call answer button once to turn it off.
2.  Push the call answer button and the mute button at the same time and hold them down.  The mute button is the black little wheel at the top of the headset.  Use the tip of your finger to push it straight down and hold it while holding the call answer button.  A green light on the headset will flash for 2 series of flashes.  Wait until the end of the second series then let go of both buttons.
3.  Put the headset back on the charging cradle and wait 30 seconds.  Lift it back up and try to use it.  If this doesn't work, repeat one more time and then disconnect the power from the base and plug it back in.

Anytime I turn on Webcam and the mic on this unit the receiver is hearing a lot of noise coming from my end

Normal 0 First, If you have your speakers turned up to high it will give you feedback causing distortion and static. I recommend using a headset when videoing.
Second reason is, if you are using a laptop and have added an external microphone between the two it will cause distortion and static.
Not knowing the configuration of your computer makes it harder to analyze the problem.
So hope this is of some help. Bud
