Open all the inspection doors. Remove paper trays. Remove all the toner cartridges. Use a flashlight and look for a small piece of torn paper and remove it carefully. Clean all feed rollers with a damp cloth. Reassemble and test.
If you are experiencing issues with loading toner on a Ricoh MP 4002 printer, there are a few possible causes that could be contributing to the problem.
First, check the toner cartridge to ensure that it is compatible with the printer and has not expired. Additionally, make sure that the toner cartridge is properly positioned into the printer. If the toner cartridge is not correctly installed, it could be preventing the toner from loading properly.
Next, check the toner hopper, which is the component that holds the toner in place, and ensure that it is not damaged or blocked. If the hopper is damaged, it will need to be replaced.
If the hopper is not the issue, then it is likely that the transfer roller, which is responsible for transferring the toner to the paper, is not functioning properly. In this case, the transfer roller will need to be replaced.
If all components are working properly, then it is likely that the problem lies in the printer itself. You may need to take the printer to a service center for a more in-depth inspection.

You have a paper jammed in right side. open the right cover and see if there is a paper from top to bottom. If there is no paper in sight than remove the paper tray and see on right side inside the machine if there is a paper. if paper is nowhere , then it must be small peace of paper stuck on the registration roller.
Please follow the steps posted below:
1. Remove the paper from the MP tray
2. Remove any jammed paper from in and
around the MP tray
3. Close the MP tray. Then open the front
cover and close it to reset the machine.
4. Open the MP tray again
5. Fan the paper stack, and then put it back
in the MP tray
6. When loading paper in the MP tray,
make sure that the paper stays under
the maximum paper height guides on
both sides of the tray
open the right cover where you normally remove the paper jams, then open front cover/door where you put toner, lift the green handle up,push green lock towards the right side while pulling the hopper out, then theres a connector beneath the PCU,pull it then pull out the PCU,use the same same procedure to put it in,start with the PCU,return the connector and put in the hopper, then close all doors/covers
If the jam resets after opening and closing door, then its misfeeding caused by a faulty feed clutch. Can swop it with by-pass clutch. Same thing just different colour plugs.
If it doesn't reset at all after opening or closing the right cover you either have a faulty or out of position side door micro switch that is not activating. Or the other problem could be that the registration sensor actuator is stuck in the up position. Not moving freely.
first: Remove the jammed paper, close the cover and press «Resume / Cancel»
second: If there is no jam - check the checkbox sensor registration papers and the sensor itself In addition, this error may cause failure of the paper feed roller or gear
or maybe small parts inside of the printer that block paper.
Open the paper jam cover at the back of the printer and remove the jammed papers, be sure you return properly the cover afterwards. Re-start your machine.
