I had the same issue -- charged it for days and still red light flashing. I was ready to break it open and see if I could replace battery. Then I looked on the opposite end of the charger and seen a little round hole thingy. I put the end of a pen in there and pushed it twice and -- the red light went away . Plugged the charge in and steady red then purple and now blue. Looks like that is a reset ..Try it -- it worked for mine.
Hi, Red light flashing on tv indicates that tv got some problem and shifted to protection mode to avoid further damage. If Lamp light is flashing on tv then check lamp that would be dead or broke, replace lamp to solve tv problem. let your tv power supply be checked. its not producing the required voltages at the out puts.
the components to be checked are tin capacitors, zener diodes for open and shorts, and semi conductors for shorts and leaks.
this should be done at a w/shop if you dont have the technical knowhow.
