SOURCE: How to set up ew100

Hi, ok well usually it can be set up pretty much like this, use a suitable, connector, often a 3mm stereo phono plug at each end, but not always some are proprietary, to connect the Earphone "Output" of the "Player" to the Microphone or "Input" of the "Transmitter". The transmitter is then set to the desired frequency, or "Channel" or if a fixed frequency, that doesn't matter, and then it is a simple matter to tune the Receiver to the "Channel" that the Transmitter is "On".
The player is set to "play" the music/sound goes from the earphone jack, via the cable, into the transmitters input, the signal is transmitted via the airwaves to the receiver, where it is processed and then you can then hear the output from the player.

How do i sync my mic to my receiveri have a ew 100 g3 and after some kids were playing with it, I can't get any sound

Pressing the sync button whilst holding the mic close to the IR unit on the receiver should sync things back up. If this has already been done things to try next are as follows.

RF Mute. Press and release the power button. RF Mute should be displayed. Press the roccker switch and select RF mute OFF, press the rocker switch again.
Check in the advanced menu that the pilot tone is on on the handheld AND the receiver.

The ew 3000 iem (brand new) is stuck on mute. Tried everything to no avail. Ideas????? Please Help!!!???!!!!

Hello,
To get your transmitter out of mute press the standby button and hold it briefly until "RF Mute Off" appears. Your display should change from red to orange and the transition icon will also be displayed again. This indicates your transmitter is transmitting.

How do I un mute the pack

It looks like the mute function is only available from the menu... not very user friendly at all... I guess they figure the performer doesn't need to mute easily or quickly... Volume control I suspect is all that is readily availab;le at the pack to quickly mute.

I am attaching an external microphone and need to mute the internal mic. They both work and it echos. PLease help.

Adding a mike doesn't create echos/feedback. Windows? Version? Right click on speaker icon in lower right and go to recording device mixers, can mute and adjust level of sound sources, also microphone power and pre-amp. Telephones and other devices (laptops) with both input and output will feedback unless the input is "noise cancelling", so you will have to be much more careful with the placement of the external mike compared to using the built in mike.

put your mic on mute for playback. So the mic works but it doesnt play it from the speakers at the same time.

If you dont see microphone on the list click on
options then settings
put a X on the playback -> microphone.

close settings

its now shown in the panel, click on mute and it wont feedback the sounds to you anymore.

Canon G3 irresponsive Shutter & non-see through viewfinder

optical view finder. this seams odd as it is only a lens. Was the camera dropped at some point? that may explain both issues. if not then I need to know a little more prior to offering an opinion.
