Your phone can work on different Panasonic phone systems that program differently. I would need to know the model number of your phone system to look up specific information.

Until I get that info from you. Most systems can only be turned on and off from night mode at one phone station (usually the operator) but others will let you program a programmable key on any phone to do this. It's also possible to enter a function code from any phone on some systems.

Does it say Night Mode on a display? How do you know it is in night mode? If it is on a display, is it on all the displays or just one? If just one then that is the phone that can turn it off.

Hi Caroline, this kx-t760 doesn't have a answering machine function. This is why you can't find it in the user manual.
I can not take credit for this answer as it was answered in sep 2009

The panasonic KX-t7630 doesnt have a answering machine and runs through voice mail.. if you have voice mail set up simple dial your number for voice mail (eg. 500) press 311, then record greeting at the end of tone. hope that helps.

Want to know how we can divert our Panasonic KX-T7730 to a mobile number

What you want to do is to activate the call forwarding feature offered by your phone company. Different phone companies have different procedures. With many companies you dial *72 then at the second dial tone dial the number to forward to. This number has to answer the call to activate call forwarding. For precise instructions please contact your telephone company.

The Proccess is access line... the on the Keypay dial... *21* (then The No; to be Diverted To) then confirm by pressing the # Key. Wait and the No; will be repeated to you.

How do you switch out of night mode on the panasonic KX-T7630 phone ?

It may work on all phones, but from the main phone on the intercom dial *780x where x = 0/1/2/3 for Day/Night/Lunch/Break.

It can be programmed to work from any phones in the sysetm by class of service.

How do you cancel night mode on the KX T7630? Or

If it's enabled on your phone, on the intercom dial *7800 That puts the system in DAYS. *7801 puts it in NIGHT. By default extension 101 or the main phone has access to it. We turn it on for everybody in most offices by Class of Service options.

Night switching for KX-T7630

You have 4 different modes of calling available to be programmed: DAY NIGHT BREAK and LUNCH. Your installer has to set up the ICD groups, but you can create a LUNCH group which looks like the day mode but rings all phones. The codes are accessed by dialing on the intercom *780x where 0 is day 1 is night 2 is lunch and 3 is break.

You may use the NIGHT mode in the daytime, but if you have voice mail, it will play the night greeting instead of a day greeting.

Panasonic KX-T7730 Diverting Calls back

If you set call forward all calls then lift your handset press the FWD/DND button, dial 0 , you should get a tone, then hang up. If you set Follow Me then dial 8 and your extension number instead of the 0 . Good Luck. ....Mike
