If it was just no working on power adaptor I would have suggested the socket was faulty. However as not working on batteries I would suggest it is the on/off switch.

From what I can remember the PSS680 used a slide on/off switch which when you look inside has a metal piece that makes the circuit on the PCB track. Over a period of time this can wear or get clogged up with dust etc.

The other thing you could check is, do you think a wrong adaptor might have been used. Check the polarity against the picture shown on the back of the keyboard. If it is wrong you may have blown some of the power diodes.

My yamaha psrE23 not responding when plugged to electricity what maybe the problem if I put batteries it's just giving me a feedback

Hi
In terms of no electrical power it could be either a faulty power adaptor, broken socket. However the feedback with batteries could indicate a more serious fault. If the batteries are know to be good try a reset. Hold down the highest sounding key while turning the keyboard on. Release once you have lights or a display on screen. Has the noise stopped? If so then try electrical connection again, if still no power ensure you are using the correct power adaptor and see if it works if you wobble the connector - they break away causing an intermittent fault. Report back and maybe I can offer more advice depending on how you progress with the above.

No powerfrom the outlet source

The AC adaptor of my Casio Keyboard has reversed polarity from the Standard Power AV adaptor you get in the market. The center is NEGATIVE. When you try to use a new power supply that is NOT a CASIO original, you may need to reverse the polarity of the plug. Check that.

I have a Casio CTK 551 Keyboard, when the AC adaptor is connected and power is turned on, the Keyboard lights up for a few seconds then turns off. I noticed no red light lights up when the AC adaptor is...

The adapter has a problem... likely a poor connection of input power that briefly contacts building up some voltage that is then stored in the capacitors in the adapter which then discharge quicklly when you turn on the Casio. The adapters with FIXED blades OFTEN have problems contacting the connections in wall receptacles and extension cords. You may need to bend the blades slightly or use a better receptacle like connector. IF your adapter has a three wire cord from it to the wall receptacle, those SOMETIMES don't seat well...

Headphones don't work right.

It might be that the contacts for the headphone jack is very dirty. Try using a cotton swab with a wd-40 on it to clean the inside contacts on the jack.
