Bogus toner cartridge.

Makes NO difference. If the cartridge sealer goes bad, it will leak toner all over the place!

  • Philip Hughes Sep 27, 2016

Ah, I see what you mean. I understood bogus to mean not genuine; fake. I don't think it is a problem with the bottle because the toner is not all over the place; it is just in a small area close to the input side of the drum. The components near the bottle are quite clean.

The toner cartridge has a leak. Period.

How to fix black smudges all over paper in Bizhub c3110

The old toner collector is full so old toner is being deposited back onto the drum. You need to dump the old black toner reservoir out.

Opeate fix this code C-2105 in konica minolta bizhup 600

Transfer/separation cleaning motor home sensor error. Most commonly caused by toner building up in sensor. Open front doors, lower center handle, and pull out transport unit. Located in the middle of the units paper path (to the right of the fuser) is the T/S unit. Located the two screws holding the unit in and loosen them, ones at the front the other is at the back. Pick the T/S unit straight up and out of the machine and clean out any toner and paper dust located in underneath. Reinstall unit and reboot machine.

Konica minolta bizhub press 1250 p c-2101

Charge cleaning assy. error. There is a very fine gold plated wire that is above the drum on the drum cart. Must be remove to be seen. Well there is cleaning device for that wire. you may hear it some time when you turn on the machine. Well its stuck or the motor (bad/Stuck) or sensor that tells the machine the cleaner is back home mite be dirty/Toner. Remove the drum cart and check it out. There is also the same system for the transfer/separation wires that are below the drum which the paper goes over as the drum transfers the image to the paper.

Bizhub 600 has an error c-2703 what is the reset

Sir/Mam,
Directly below the drum section is assemble called the transfer/separation assy. (Pull out the middle section will see assy with black grids across it under the grids are some very fine wires) the purpose of this unit is twofold. (It houses several very thin gold plated wires) One wire is what helps the transfer of the image from the drum to the paper. Since the paper goes between this wire and the drum, the second wire prevents the paper from sticking to the drum during the transfer process. The code you have been getting means either wires might be broken, or has to be cleaned (because of all the toner on it from the drum assy. which needs to be removed and cleaned. Or The end blocks that hold the wires are getting old and allowing the High Voltage that is applied to the wire during the copy/print process to leak to ground. have a qualified tech look at it.

Toner not fusing on minolta bizhub c250 properly, what is the cause

The fuser unit is faulty. The fuser heats the toner so it melts the toner onto the paper.

Over toning

do you have extra toner dropping on to the paper path after you clean it? That is what is sounds like. You are either having waste toner fall onto the paper path from the drum blade or cleaning reservoir. Or your developer is dropping toner as it shower the drum. If you are not having imaging issues, besides the toner on back; you might want to check the separation or transfer coronas and their voltages (ie...make sure all your grounds are good and clean) or it might be a voltage biasing problem.

Because somehow you are getting toner into the paper path after the copy. UNLESS....you did not clean the paper path good enough and you are just getting leftover run-off until the documents can clear it all.

But, always try the simplest things first!!

Good Luck!!

Toner fly in Bizhub 500

The problem may be comming from the drum unit, there is a small over sray tray right under the developer mag roller. It is mostly filled up with waste toner or dropped toner from the mag roller. You have to take out the drum unit and then the opc drum and vaccum out the tray and that should take care of the problem for now... The problem will come back..... Have you ever had the developer and or the drum & blade replaced. Minolta are a duel component copier. When the developer is worn out it will start to trow toner and fill up the small tray under the dev. mag roller..... Good Luck

Canon Imageclass MF6500

Hello Barbara,
If i were a betting man I would say that indeed a piece of paper is lodged in the machine, in whats called the drum cleaning unit. This would cause the area where the image of any copies after the occurrence to have smeared/ streaked looks to them since the previous images could not be cleaned off properly. Your machine uses basically a "rubber squeegee" to remove previous images/toner from the drum so that the next image is clean and has no residual crud from the previous copy. If paper is between the cleaning blade (squeegee) and the drum then there will be yuck streched from the lead edge of the paper to the trail edge. And since the toner that should have been cleaned off and mechanically removed and deposited into the waste toner container, it has no place to go except to fall back into the paper path so that not only does the image area of the copy look bad but the back side will have **** on it as well since the toner that should have been cleaned off and carried away is falling down into the paper path and causing the backside to be contaminated as well. You may be able to lower the jam clearance lever to the vacuum transport and shine a flashlight UP and see the paper (I hope). If you do see it, carefully remove it as it will be well crammed into a tight area where several things could be damaged unless you tread lightly. THEN...... if you are successful, it begs the question as to why the paper went where it was not supposed to. Very thin paper or other unusual media can cause this. Or your "seperation corona " assembly may be failing or has failed. That's a whole different chapter of "HOW A COPIER WORKS 101". And God forbid the genesis of this problem was labels run thru the machine...... I wish you the best if luck and I wish I could be of more help.
