There are two methods to resets.. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the device from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Service mode entry, adjust and exit procedure to many popular brand TVs and other devices are given. Never forget to exit the service mode, after all adjustments have been done.

Pioner Elite VSX-81TXV shuts off at loud volumes, even using Avia setup disc and even when using the auto calibration mic.

Generally speaking, an amp attempts to protect itself from heat, shorts, overloads and operator exuberance by refusing to turn on or stay on.

Overloads can be from excessive periods of high output or marginally low impedance loading by the speakers; and shorts would be wiring issues or a speaker blowing up.

You should be able to feel if it's hot. WHY is it overheating? Make sure it has sufficient ventilation on all sides and that vent holes are not blocked by dust balls. Ensure the fan (if equipped) is running as designed (some only operate on demand). Clean dust and debris from it.

If the amp comes back on after cooling, you're lucky. They only have so many self-protection cycles in their lives so continuously resetting or cycling their power without addressing the cause can do more harm than good.

If it protects immediately on a cool power up you should disconnect the speaker connections and try it 'naked'. If it comes up then diagnose which lead(s) are shorted. If it does not come up the problem is internal and should be left to an experienced and competent hands-on tech.

Check for loose speaker connections at the speaker as another possible root cause forintermittent shutdown.

It want burn any movies that are downloaded. Liteon model LDW811S

Hi,

if it,s only downloaded movies, that won,t burn/Write.
I,d assume that the downloaded content, is Copyright Protected.
Other suggestions Are:- your CD/DVD Burner does not support the types of files, that are being downloaded. You could try a Video Converter Program. Or alternatively. Change your DVD Burning Software.

I need software

Do you mean software to burn DVD's? If so there are a ton of programs out there as a simple Google search will show you. I do have a particular favorite you can find it here.

If you're sure that the AC plug and the voltage regulation is fine, there must be a problem with your amp. You had better get it serviced. There could be couple of blown capacitors; furthermore, you might have your power supply out of duty.
