A part called a (wig-wag) its a part that consists of two selonoids, one is bad. It switches the transmission from the wash cycle to the spin cycle,at the same time it opens the pump for draining.

There are no user servicable fuses in the machine, I believe they are talking about your breaker box.
A 220 dryer requires two 110 volt circuits to run the 220 volt heater
The motor and control circuits only require 110 and are run from only one of these two lines. If the other line blows the dryer will still run but there will be no heat.

From the information you have provided your Frigidaire laundry center is no longer working. I understand that you had to shut off power to your house and now your laundry center is not coming on. It sounds like you could have a possible short within your timer. I would recommend performing a reset on your laundry center and you can do that by unplugging the power cord for roughly ten minutes.
