Usually this is caused because the internal chips that record the voice go bad.

The F it is displaying means current memory is full, I would reccomend playing your messages and then recording them onto a portable cassete recorder, or even play it back and record it onto your pc if you have a mic.

hope this helps

Well, your machine might be broken, or you haven't set the little switch on the unit to ANS. The switch is on the side of the machine where the cables come out. But here are the instructions from the manual:

Recording Outgoing Messages:

Your answering machine has a built-in outgoing message, "Hello, please leave a message after the tone." You can use this message or record your own.

1. Hold the ANNC/DAY/<<, and speak clearly into the microphone, no more than 10 inches away.

2. Release the ANNC/DAY/<< when you finish. Your answering machine beeps and automatically plays back your recorded message.

*Your outgoing message must be between one and 60 seconds.

*If you record your won message but wish to revert to the pre-recorded message, press DELETE during playback of your outgoing message.

Please , could you help me on erase all messages from my 'Premier Dynamic 120' answering machine ? Its memory is full and I do not know how to erase all messages since I lost the user guide .

Hi there!
Try to press the delete key when the phone is in stand-by mode and wait for the voice to say "To delete all messages, press delete again" then press delete again. Each message on you Uniden system should be removed. Lastly confirm the deletion. The answeringmachine should display ")" messages. If not just repeat the process untill the messages are gone.
Hope this helps. Please rate if it works. Thanks

My caller ID isn't working and my answering machine won't let me leave a message.

Hello,
Usually CallerId is a feature you pay for. Even if phone hardware can handle it your telco must activate the service. As to the answering machine not allowing you to leave messages, the problem can come from at least 2 things.
1.The code for remote access is incorrect (reconfigure or use the factory default.)
2.Memory is full:too many recorded messages.
3. Length (duration) of message is too short.

If you need a manual, here is a link.

Select model and download manual.
Hope it helps.

Voice message retrieval from a digital answering machine

There are a number of ways that you could do this that range from secret agent technology to gee-whiz gear that you could hand-build yourself, but it sounds to me as if you just want to preserve the message and place it on your new phone (grin) so let us keep it simple.

Any Radio Shack can sell you a suction-cup mic that will plug into any recording device including the sound in jack on your computer. These are cheap, and best of all make very good recordings as long as there is not a lot of background nose in the room you are recording from.

Buy one, attach it to a regular phone handset and call your house. Just before the announce message begins to play, start recording. When it finishes, stop recording.

If you did this with a digital voice recorder you can simply play it back to your new answering machine while it is in message record mode. You might want to MP3 the recording so you have it forever as well...
