If there is no yellow socket (terminal) on the TV, as in most recent year's VIERAs:
Connect the Yellow male plug from your gaming device into the TV's GREEN female socket (terminal).
Press INPUT on the Panasonic TV remote and select the Video input. In some VIERA models, you need to press INPUT, go down and select the Comp. option and then press >right to select Video.
To get audio (sound), make sure to connect the Red and White plugs from the gaming device into the TV's Red and White sockets (terminals) that are labeled AUDIO.
Are you using the remote's AV button or the AV button on the TV? Do the other buttons on the TV work? (If the control board has failed, then the remote won't work nor will the input button.)
Are the cables for other devices connected and were the devices connected and off when the TV was turrned on? Are they on when you try to change the input? Bad cables may limit the sources the TV will allow you to select. Some will not go to an input that isn't providing any signal.
You can try resetting the TV to the factory specifications (you'll lose the channel programming though). Press Menu > Setup > Shipping Conditions
If you're talking about the DVD then it will depend on what input you have it plugged in to. Follow the cable from your DVD player to your tv and read the name of the plug it is labled with. Hit TV/Video on your remote several times until it gets to that lable on the screen. example, If you have you DVD plugged in to Video 1, hit tv/video button on your remote or on your tv until the cursor highlights video 1. Movie should play.
