Run the print head cleaning routine from the printers driver or control panel. you may have to run it 3 or 4 times to regain all the lines.

SOURCE: kyocera printer problem

First I would recommend cleaning the printer. When you change the toner there is sheet of paper that comes with the toner cartridge that explains how to properly clean the printer. If you do not have that handy, there is a panel on the left hand side of the printer that you need to open. Once the panel is open you will see the waste toner bottle; leave it in place. Above and to the right of the waste toner bottle will be a green nob. Pull this green nob slowly in and out three or four times. This will clean the charging wire. Next underneath the green nob there should be a piece that looks like a rectangular box when you pull it out. I believe it is green as well. This is the charger grid. With each toner you should have gotten a small slate blue box with a plastic lid that has a piece of felt under the plastic lid. Remove the lid and this should slot in under the long, rectangular charger grid. Move this back and forth three or four times and than remove the slate blue box. Gently push the charger grid all the way back in and close the access panel.

If this does not fix your problem I would recommend getting service from wherever you purchased the printer as you may have damaged the drum.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

SOURCE: changed black ink cartridge to LD brand. Now

Canon printers do not like non Canon inks. Maybe other printers have similar issues but it seems that Canon is particularly finnicky.

Black lines are appearing when i print and copy from my kyocera 1130

Your print head or some of the mechanism has something stuck in it causing the line. I would start by cleaning the print head if possible, if not you will probably have to replace the print head, but I would clean it good before I bought a new head.

My Kyocera FS-C5030N has just started printing a red line on the right side of every page?

Try cleaning the magenta charge grid on the left side door of printer. But from my experience this is caused by the magenta developing unit wearing out or going bad. A kyocera dealer can help with this.

A black line is printing 6.5cm from the right side of the page

Clean the main charge, this is a step that is suppose to be done when replacing the toner but most people don't. The instructions to do this is in your users manual. If you dont have the manual go to www.gfbm.net to download one. Also make sure the cleaner is placed all the way back to the right when done or it will effect your prints.

Black line on prints from Kyocera fs2000d

remove the drum by opening the LHS of the printer & removing the toner waste bottle, then depress the grey button on the drum assembly & firmly pull the assembly out. Best done in a darkish room as the drum is light sensitive.
The black line couldn't be fixed as it is caused by a scratch less that 2mm long on the drum. Ether a new drun at £299 or a new printer ar £245..
