How do I add an email address to my Kindle Approved email List?

Hello, You will be install the Canon Print Plugin. Start the application and enter the document you want to print and select print from the menu. The canon print plugin start. A list of printers model detected on your network are displayed. Select the print continue. Accept the all License Agreement. Now, the print setting appear.

Books and other info is sent to kindle by your registered email address. Log onto kindle Look for account and lists below the search bar and to right side. Hold cursor there and look down list to Manage content and devices. Click that. On right side click settings. That will give you a list of all the registered info on your device also an option to change any of that info. If you send personal files to your kindle you will also have to change the approved senders list, near bottom of page or you kindle will not accept anything from unknown senders. Any further problems you can try these to contact customer service direct.

You will have to set up info about who you consider "Safe senders"
Go online amazon.com, my account, manage content and devices. Go to settings tab. Near bottom of list you will see Send-to-Kindle E-Mail Settings is a list of address for each device you may own. Below that is
Approved Personal Document E-mail List You will add your personal email addresses, that you may be sending files from. If it does not find the address you are sending from it will not accept the file.

Log onto Amazon.com Look for Your Account and place cursor on it. From the list about half way down click Manage Content and Devices. Click the middle heading Your Devices. This will show info
on your kindle.

To update email/password...on first page of Amazon.com just under the search bar you will see help. Click that and then click Change Account Settings. The password is hidden with ***. I'm not sure if you can just change that or not.

If you need more help. One of the help topics is Device Support. Click that and you will see Contact us bottom of left column. click that and fill in info. Choose call back and leave number and best time to call. They should call you back no later than next day depending on time you sent in request. Best part it's free.

Did you report it lost/stolen? If it's already active it may still be registered.

Log on to Amazon.com, click help under the address bar. Click device support, You should see a list of your devices. In left column you'll see Contact Us. Click and fill in info and they will call or email you back with help.

My first kindle was the 2nd generation. It was already registered when I got it. The best thing I can tell you is to go to Amazon.com Under the address bar you will see "Your Account" Click Your account at top of list. One right side of screen click kindle help home, next screen Left side click Contact us. Fill in the info under call me. Someone will call you back and talk you through it. They are a breeze to work with.

I assume you mean kindle books you order online (not from the kindle itself?)

They are delivered to your Kindle based on what you have registered on line, not to your email. Therefore changing your email address should not matter (at least directly).

When you say 'moved' - do you mean moved house physically (which does not matter at all) or moved to using a new kindle? Assuming you mean a new kindle, you need to
A) make sure the kindle is registered to your Amazon account: go to home screen, touch top of screen to bring up menu and then press the 'three lines button', select settings. There should be option to register (you will need email address and password - so you need to make sure your online Amazon account has correct email address registered! This is where email change might be causing problems, but can be updated online)

B) when you order books online you need to select the correct kindle to deliver to in the drop down box next to the order button (it might be called something like "Paul's Second kindle")

You can access all books you have ever bought (for this kindle or any other) on Kindle paper white by selecting 'cloud' when on the list of books at home screen.

The main email address settings are shown on the Manage Your Kindle web page where you will see the email address allocated to your Kindle to use if you want to send documents to be converted to Kindle format and delivered to your device via the Whispernet service.

You will also find further options under the Personal Documents Section of Manage Your Kindle where you can set up any email addresses that you want to send documents from.

If you are wanting to check your email on your Kindle then you will need to use the Experimental Kindle web browser to do so as there is no specific email client built in to the Kindle software (that I am aware of or can find). You can access web based email services via the browser.

Hi, the MAC address filtering settings can be accessed by logging into your router's configuration software (type 192.168.1.1 into your web browser and hit Enter, then type in your username and password) and going to the Wireless tab and beneath that, Wireless MAC Filter. You can either choose Disable to turn the MAC filter off completely, or you can choose Edit MAC Filter List and add your Kindle's MAC address to the list of approved devices.
