How do I get a simple answer to my simple question.How to turn off rotation of screen

Devices can be different, but check your Settings. Find Display. Make sure "Auto rotate screen" is checked. Or sometimes it may be as simple as powering the device off then back on.

I'm assuming that the Nextbook uses an android OS for this answer. On the drop down menu that appears when you "pull down" the top right corner of the screen there should be a "rotation lock" button if it's on then turn it off, if it is off then there may be something wrong with the position sensor in the tablet.

You should be able to just turn the tablet on its side an the screen would auto rotate but if not go to settings an select screen settings/display an change the setting to auto rotate.

You are looking for an option called Rotation or Rotation Lock (varies by Android version and tablet). Once you find it, orient the tablet so it is in landscape mode, then turn off rotation. If you do not have an option on the bar at the top of the tablet (top pull-down you get by sliding down a finger from the top of the screen), then go to Settings, Display, and look for Rotation, Rotation Lock, or Screen Rotation.

go to setting>display>rotate screen
check the box(click in box)
it'll activate auto rotate

Drag your fingers down to get the QUICK menu.
Top Left is a wheel with SCREEN ROTATION LOCK Icon.
Tap it to turn Screen Rotation Lock OFF.

Use the following steps to enable screen rotation lock:

1. Rotate iPad so the display is in the desired orientation.
2. Double-click the Home button to display recently used apps.
3. Flick from left to right along the bottom of the screen.
4. Tap the rotation lock button on the bottom left of the screen.
5. A padlock will appear in the rotation lock button.

You can't access pages like facebook from a Kindle, it will only load very simple text webpages, nothing as complicated as facebook.

To reset the device you need to just slide the power switch at the bottom, slide it to the right and hold it in that position for at least 15 seconds, you will see the device reset.

Hybernation is probably turned off.
to turn it on

start -> control panel -> power settings -> hybernation tab
enable hybernation.

I'd recommend you reinstall the driver software for your dashboard screen / video card.

Do you have the cds or should I get you a download?

u can use once time alt+ctrl+ any type arrow to roated screen
