yes so press the menu button , once the menu pops up scroll down to channel then click the right arrow then scroll down to anything meaning auto scan channels then click on that and then put your remote down and in a few minutes it will finish scanning and it should close menu and go straight to one of the scanned channels, once this happens you should treat your tv normally and go through the channels until you find something you want to watch and so on, your done. If you're trying to get channels from the air, switch the input to air/tv (varries depending on brand)
Then in the general settings, should be an option for 'run auto scan'

I got a hitachi camcorder at a flee market and it did not come with an instruction book. Everything is fine up to the part where I have to finalize the disc in order to play it back on my DVD player or whatever. I have all the cords but don't know where the outlet on the camcorder is, in order to plug into the ac charger.. In other words: Where do I plug the cords. I can't find anything on the camcorder that will ssupport the cords,, Is there a hidden slot somewhere on the camcorder???? Please help, Email me at...... [email protected]
