How do I connect my flat screen tv to my Phillips MX3900 system

This is an older home theater package and only has component video out for HD and RCA or SPDIF optical out for audio. You'll need to locate the component video input on the back of your flat panel and connect it to the component output of the Phillips unit. Component cables have 3 RCA cable (Red, Blue, Green) for HD. You can use a RED/WHITE RCA cable for audio but if you have a SPDIF Optical cable you should use that for better sound. The TV should have that as an input also. You will need to go into the Menu for the TV and select component video and SPDIF optical if you went that route for audio.

What is motherboard

The front of the motherboard contains ports that all of the internal components connect to. A single socket/slot houses the CPU. Multiple slots allow for one or more memory modules to be attached. Other ports reside on the motherboard which allow the floppy drive hard drive and optical drive to connect via ribbon cables. Small wires from the front of the computer case connect to the motherboard to allow the power, reset and LED lights to function. Power from the power supply is delivered to the motherboard by use of a specially designed port.

My DVD player won't play the DVD's so what is the problem, it just started not playing them

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having some issues with your dvd player, but hopefully the following information can help you determine what the problem may be.
The most common problem that causes dvd players to not read the discs is because the optical lens is dirty and needs to be cleaned. The optical assembly uses a laser to read the data from discs and over a period of time dust and dirt build up on the lens which prevents the laser from reading the discs properly. The dvd player will usually give you some kind of error message such as "no disc", "cannot read disc" or some other message along those lines.
The easiest way to clean the optical lens is by purchasing a cd/dvd cleaning kit (you can purchase them at most stores that sell electronics such as Best Buy, Wal-Mart, Radio Shack, etc).
The next common problem is that the disc is dirty or scratched. If you hold the disc up to the light and tilt it back and forth you can see if the disc may have small scratches or has some form of dirt (such as finger prints). Again, you can purchase kits that will help you remove scratches and dirt.
Dvd players can also encounter mechanical problems that will prevent them from reading discs. The following could also cause the player to not read the disc.
1. The spindle motor: Discs spin inside the machines so that the optical assembly can read the data. If you listen closely when you put a disc in and close the tray, you should be able to hear the disc spinning up inside the player. If the disc is not spinning at all or it spins a little then quits and continues to do this a couple more times then the spindle motor is likely the problem and will need to be replaced. The part is not expensive (average cost $25-40 dollars), but the labor could cost you between $50-80 dollars if you pay a technician to replace it.
2. The optical assembly- This is where the components are contained that uses the laser to read discs (including the optical lens). If a component inside the optical assembly has malfunctioned, the player will not be able to read the discs. Fixing this can be expensive depending on the part and of course the labor.
The following link to my tips and tricks page, will provide you with more detailed information on the components I mentioned plus a few more malfunctions. It will also provide you with pictures so that you will be able to see the components.

If you have the technical skills or feel comfortable working on any of the items I have mentioned, it will save you a lot of money. Remember, when working on any electronic component that you should exercise great caution because of a SHOCK hazard (which can happen even it the device is unplugged because capacitors hold electrical charges for some time even when no power is supplied) and when working with anything that contains a LASER can also be harmful to the eyes.

I hope this will help you determine what the problem may be so that you can get it quickly resolved. Let us know if you need further assistance.

If you would not mind, please rate my help. I would greatly appreciate it. Thank You

If optic sensor wheel teeth are missing or bent, replace the optic sensor wheel. 􀁺 Optic sensor wires – Check wire connections from the optic sensor to the drive board. Check wire continuity . 􀁺 Optic sensor – Turn on unit power. Turn the motor flywheel with your hand. The optic sensor indicator (LED10 on the drive board) should flicker. See MOTOR.08. If it does not light, and all parts above are OK, replace the optic sensor. Other 􀁺 Motor – Does the motor sputter, sometimes running fast, sometimes slow? See MOTOR.04. If the motor tests good, replace the drive board. If the motor tests bad, replace it. 􀁺 Drive board – See above, and inspect for burnt, damaged, or loose components. 􀁺 Main program IC - Press down on the main program IC on the display to ensure a good connection. Which optical inputs should I use for (1) audio output from hi-def cable box (connected to HDTV with component cables) and (2) audio output from DVD (connected to 3805 with component cables?

Hi, the Optical and Coaxial inputs are assignable to whichever input you need them on. Plug the Optical cables from your DVD and HD cable box into any of the OPTICAL INPUTS (1 and 2 is fine, but write down your connections on paper)

You will then need to go into the setup of the AVR on the screen and assign the OPTICAL connections to the correct inputs (Probably TV/CAB and DVD.

Use the SYSTEM SETUP button on the factory remote, and you should see the on-screen menu appear on your TV. Go to INPUT ASSIGNMENT and choose the input for the DVD and assign OPTICAL 1 or 2...

Wireless headphone connection to multiple components?

Cat,    Splitting an optical output is not recommended.  In fact it would require an optical patch bay, which would be overkill. You could use the headphone output on the front of the Denon AVR3805.    Because this output is behind a door it might be a cleaner looking set up to use the optical output on the top left looking at the back of the unit.  Because those two optical outputs are labeled "optical 3 and 4" they are zone outputs, they should work without having to "map" or patch them internally. The outputs here will be controlled independently as zones from the receiver's remote.      The easiest option looks to be the analog "pre output" located in the middle of the back of the receiver.  The left-most two rca jacks you want to use are labeled "front" and are white over red.  This output will work fine.  Control of the volume will be from the headphone unit and not the receiver.

Transceiver parts not available

Signal tracking progress features have been observed to apply for poor signal monitoring of the Condor Party of GPS Media Trouble. With performance and fast startup bars, Condor GPS modules enable system integrator to easily connect the Global Positioning System (GPS) to a mobile device whose size or battery life has a very low cost effect. The Condor GPS family includes modules with various form factor and interface options. The Condor GPS family has multiple modules with different form factor and interface options. All modules in the family offer top level positioning performance. The features and attributes listed below are ideal for all condom GPS modules in the family. Trimble's Condor C1216 GPS Receiver Module is a smart alternative to a GPS chipset with many consumer and commercial location applications.

Nowadays, in current network communication projects, optical transceivers, optical fiber transceivers and optical modems can be widely used and highly respected by security personnel. So, are you aware of the differences between these three safes? An optical modem is a type of device that is similar to a base band modem (digital modem). The difference from a base band modem is that it is connected to a dedicated optical fiber line, which is an optical signal. It is used for the conversion of photoelectric signals and interface protocols over wide area networks and the access router is access to wide area networks. Photoelectric transceivers use photoelectric signal conversion on local area networks but only signal conversion without interface protocol conversion. It is typically used over long distances on campus networks and is not suitable for environments where rolled welded wires are deployed. To clean the optical modem, photoelectric transceiver. We need to introduce the environment in which they are used. Known as the single-port optical transceiver, it is a product designed specifically for a user-friendly environment. It uses a pair of optical fibers for single E1 or single V35 or single 10BaseT point-to-point optical transmission terminal devices. As relay transmission equipment on local networks, these devices are suitable for optical fiber terminal transmission equipment of base stations and leased line equipment. For multi-port optical transceivers they are commonly called "optical transceivers". For single-port optical transceivers, they are usually used for the user. They act like the base band modem commonly used for WAN dedicated line (circuit) networking. "Optical Modem" and "Optical Network Unit".
