SOURCE: HOW DO I TAKE A LINK OUT OF THE WATCH BAND

Start by looking at the inside of the watchband, there should be a arrow pointing up/down. Take a pin and put it in on the side that shows the arrow going down. Take a hammer and GENTLY tapp the pin. The pin should push out a pin in the band. Do this as many times as you have to for the size you desire, and then put the pin in the same derection as you tapped the pin out. Usually you will also see a **** on the side youn DON'T want to tap out. If you still; have a problem don;'t hesitate to write me, and I will be glad to take you step by step with this. Good Luck!!

SOURCE: Kenneth Cole Wrist Watch unable to remove link

First you have to find out what sort of pins or even screws are used to keep links together.
Examine both bracelet sides and find the side where pin ends have a groove.
Start with a tiny screwdriver and start to unscrew one of the screws. If it turns, but doesn't come out, that means you have a pins instead.
For removing pins the best would be pin removing tool (approx.5GBP on ebay), but it's possible to do the job without it.
Take a hardened steel needle and blunt the sharp end to the approx. size of pin end diameter using any sharpening stone or sandpaper. Get an old towel and fold it to make a soft base for work (like small cusion). As you don't have a special bracelet holder you will need a pair of helping hands to hold the bracelet steady upright. You will need small hammer and pair of flat nose pliers as well.
NOTE: The pins MUST be driven split end out first, not vice versa. Make sure that the grooved pin ends are facing towel, not the needle and hammer!!!
Now place the watch on the folded towel, take that needle and smallest hammer you have and start driving the pin out using light blows. Do Not hit hard, as you will brake the needle, scratch your watch or even injure yourself. Watchmakers are using 45 gram hammer, so, calculate your strength of blows.
After a few blows check if the split end is coming out and when you see that the end is long enough to grab it with pliers, pull the pin out with pliers. When pulling, do NOT turn pliers, as pins tend to brake when twisted. Use firm grip and your strength to pull the pin without twisting.
After shortening the bracelet, make sure that the pins go back EXACTLY the same way as they came out- the blunt end first in the hole and the split (grooved) end last. Before doing that check remaining pins in bracelet to make sure that you put them back from the right side of bracelet.
It is recommended to use plastic hammer to drive pins back in or you will scratch or damage bracelet. If plastic hammer is not available use an old toothbrush handle (or some plastic item) as an absorber. Simply put pin into the hole as deep as you can with your fingers, put the toothbrush handle on split pin end and hit handle, not the pin.
Make sure that pin ends are flush with bracelet. If needed- hit few more times.
Job done!

Hope it'll help.

Regards

Arthur

SOURCE: How to set kenneth cole unlisted digital watch with 4 buttons

OK I'll do my best to describe the procedure...

Part 1:
Press mode button till the seconds window blinks
Press Lap/Reset button once to make minutes blink
Cycle through minutes using Start/Stop Button

Part 2:
Press Lap/Reset button once again to make hours blink
Cycle through hours using Start/Stop Button

(for this part, it's a bit tricky. Hours can be displayed in AM, PM, or 24 hour duration. AM is represented by "A", PM is shown with "P" and 24 hour mode is shown with "H", so keep an eye in the seconds window when setting your hour so you know for sure if you have the right hour)

When your done setting minutes and hours, press mode button again till you get to main screen
A helpful hint is to remember when setting up anything in this watch, mode will cycle through the different screens, lap/reset will change the value of whatever your modifying (AKA minutes/hours) and start/stop scrolls through the different fields.

Hope this helps. Sorry if it's confusing, best I could do.

SOURCE: How to open the back

BASIC WATCH BATTERY CHANGE
Get a replacement battery for your watch. Some watches have the battery information stamped on the back plate. If yours doesn't, you'll have to wait until you've removed the old battery to see what kind of replacement watch battery you'll need.
Lay your watch face down on a non-scratching, non-skid surface. It may help to clamp the watch to the surface.
Remove the back from the watch. You might be able to pry it off with your fingernail, but you'll probably need a stiff, thin tool like a knife or screwdriver. You can also buy watch repair kits, which have the perfect tools for the job. Check the watch back for a small notch to insert your tool, but not all watches have these.
Remove the battery from the watch once the back is off. You might need to tip the watch over to let the battery fall out.
Insert the new watch battery into the proper space, first double-checking its size against the old battery to make sure it will fit. Press lightly into place.
Replace the back on your watch. Make sure you press firmly to get the back seated snugly.

If this doesnt work, then take to a local jeweler/watchmaker who is equipped with the right tools to assist you.

Best regards.

WHAT IS THE BATTERY SIZE FOR A KENNETH COLE KC50477003WATCH?

Tip & How-To about Watches

Changing Watch Batteries
Lots of posters ask "what is the battery in my (name of watch)" with a view to changing it yourself. This is a bad idea for many reasons. You don't have the tools or knowledge to remove a rotary screw on back, or the gasket sealant for a waterproof watch. Some fashion watches have 4 traditional screw and need professional grade jeweler screwdrivers. Also, there are about 20 batteries commonly used in watches, in various sizes and internal technology, Lithium Ion, Silver Oxide and Manganese Alkaline. If you buy them, you generally have to buy 10!

Don't sweat the details. Just take the watch to your local jeweler. They have all the batteries at hand and the tools to remove the back. It is done whilst you wait for $8 to $15!
