Brook stone Pure-Ion UV Air Purifier stopped working. Took out filters to clean. After I put the filters back in, it won't turn on anymore. I have Bridge Stone Ionic Air Cleaner and I cant figure out how to take it a part to clean the filter. It's a few years old, used very little and I don't have a manual. Can anyone help. thanks
If I cannot find the replacemnt part for the motor,we cannot remove the housing over the fan, looks like planned obsolesence to us! I will have 2 UV bulb replacements I just ordered from Brookstone for 20 each, will sell these to whomever would like them. KMWS
I bought one a year ago and never thought it work well in cleaning the air. I get more dust on my counters than collects in the pure-ion. I recently got a letter from an attorney saying they are settling a class action suit on these purifiers because the are not effective. I called brookstone and they said they will refund my money because of the law suit. Good luck.
