After rotating pictures are you able to save them so that every time you turn it off the picture stays how you want it to be

Yes. Any changes you make are usually automatically saved. Make the changes in your computer, save to memory card and then install on photo frame.

Want to know how transfer photos from a Nokia Lumia 521 to the Aluratek Digital Photo Frame

You can either transfer your photos and videos to your computer first (See your NOKIA Lumia 521 Users Manual), and then transfer them from your computer to a MicroSd card that is used with your 8" Aluratek Digital Photo Frame

OR

Your NOKIA Lumia 521 phone supports a MicroSD memory card with a capacity of up to 64 GB. When you take photos and videos using your phone, store them to the Memory Card directly. You can then simply take the memory card out of the camera and insert it into the Aluratek Digital Photo Frame for viewing.

Pandigital picture frame manual

Hello,
Unfortunately, there is no way to permanently fix the sideways photos while in the photo frame device. The only way to permanently fix them is to rotate them in your computer, and save them that way in the computer then re-upload the corrected pictures to the frame. Oh ya, you will have to delete the un-rotated pictures from the frame also.
Note: if the same name is used in both spots then the frame will take the newer one when it is overwritten on the upload to it therefore you will not have to go back and delete them manually!
Good Luck!

Some of my vertical (portrait) photos on my 15" are displaying as horizontal (Landscape). What can I do to fix this?

Have you saved the images that are appearing as Landscape in Portrait?

The frame should display the images as you saved them. Rotate the image in your photo editing program until they appear as Portrait, then save them. This should fix your problem.

Can't save rotated pictures in iQ Digital Picture Frame

You need to get them correctly orientated before you load them - the software in the frame is not capable of doing this permanently.

How do I keep a photo rotated?

Not all frames can save rotated images. Try rotating a photo on the frame's built-in memory, not one on a memory card. If it still does not save, then this model does not save rotated images.
