Sony N50 pop up flash has a broken cable . It pops up ok but doesn't flash

spray a very very small amount of WD40 on the hings of pop up flash (use the thin RED spray tube)

This happens when the flash bulb is fused/burnt .Get the flash bulb replaced and will go fine.

the inside door handle is probably broken. the cable may have popped out but usually its because the clips on the inside door handle break off. luckily you can just replace the handle and not have to get a whole new door panel

Slowly try to pry the flasher up with a small screwdriver. If this works the you know it is in the locking mechanism. If it does not work the it is the lock itself that is broken. It is plastic and easily broken. Good Luck

Flash pops up shows that flash release mechanism is working as camera wants to flash.
There are 3 thick wires connecting between flash bulb and flash charging circuit in camera, one of thick wire seems internally broken and causing problem.
Camera will be apart to check wires.

If it is Sony DLP TV then pop sound was broken lamp in TV and lamp light is flashing. Needs to replace lamp in TV.
Let me know model number of TV to provide you more info like lamp replacement etc.

Lamp inside TV is broken and requires replacement. Pop sound was its breaking sound.
Lamp replacement procedure is written in user manual, pretty easy.
Please buy Sony original lamp for TV safety and avoid aftermarket/ cheap lamp.

NO there is no manual way . get a good flash light and look at teh latch through the grill or from under the truck and try and pop it with a long flat blade screw driver
